Get your head to shut up
Your head won't shut up right now, and that's not a flaw. When everything gets flipped overnight, your brain throws every problem at you at once, the money, the house, the people, all of it, usually at three a.m. I know, you just wish your brain would shut up and leave you alone for five minutes. Here's why it won't. It's not trying to torture you, it just doesn't want you to forget anything, so it lets it all rattle around in your skull instead. So try this. Grab one piece of paper, no categories, no order, and start writing down everything that's rattling around in there. Get it out of your head and onto that page. Once it's on paper, your brain can let go. It knows it's not going to lose anything, because it's sitting right there in front of you. Tonight you might actually sleep a little better. What's the one thing that keeps circling back the most for you today?

The noise isn't the problem. Listening to all of it is.
Everybody's got an opinion on what you should do. Your sister. Your buddy. The internet. Your own head arguing with itself at full volume. Here's the thing — you don't have to sort out which voice is right. You just have to find the one decision that's actually in front of you today. Not the ten down the road. The one. The rest of the noise can wait. It'll still be there tomorrow, trust me. So — what's the one decision in front of you right now?

Your head won't shut up. That's not a flaw.
Your head won't shut up. That's not a flaw. When everything changes overnight, your brain does what brains do — it throws every problem at you at once. Money. The house. The people. The future. All of it, all day, usually at 3 a.m. too. That's not you failing. That's a normal head doing what a normal head does under pressure. I've had mine do the same thing more than once. You're not broken. You're overloaded. There's a difference, and it matters.

Where are you at right now?
No wrong answers here. Divorce, a loss, a job that vanished, life flipped sideways — everybody in this group got hit by something. I'm not asking for the whole story. Just this: what's the thing sitting on your mind today? The one you keep circling back to. Drop it below. One sentence is plenty. Sometimes saying it out loud is the first bit of clarity you get.

Start Here Welcome
Welcome to Through the Noise. This community is for people hit by sudden change — divorce, loss, life flipped upside down — who want to shut up the chatter, get clear, and take their first right step. First thing: Drop an intro below. Your name, where you're from, and why you joined. That's it. No life story required — unless you want to tell it. Second thing: Book a quick 15-minute call with me. No pitch. I just want to know who you are and what you're dealing with. https://calendar.app.google/LvQqMYaotwt3c8Xq7 Check the Calendar tab for upcoming events. One more thing — this community is brand new. You're early. More is coming, and you get a say in what we build. Stick around. — Larry
