He did not wander into the wilderness by accident. He was led there. That is the part people skip over. The Spirit took him there on purpose. The wilderness was not a punishment. It was a preparation. Forty days of silence, hunger, and testing before everything he was called to do was released into the world. Sound familiar? Today is Day One of our 40 Day Wilderness Awakening. And just like Yahshua, you were led here. Not by accident. Not by coincidence. By the same Spirit that has been moving in your life and positioning you for what is next. This is your lock in season. THE THREE TEMPTATIONS AND WHAT THEY ACTUALLY MEAN When Yahshua was in the wilderness, the enemy showed up with three specific attacks. Not random ones. Strategic ones. Targeted directly at his identity, his faith, and his allegiance. Watch how close these are to what you will face this next 40 days. The first temptation was comfort. "Turn these stones into bread." In other words, relieve your own discomfort. Skip the process. Use your power for yourself. The moment you start bending your restrictions on this fast because it feels hard, you are answering that same temptation. The restrictions you set are not arbitrary. They are your boundary line in the wilderness. Hold them. The second temptation was validation. "Throw yourself down and make God prove He will catch you." This is the temptation to test the process instead of trust it. It shows up as doubt. It sounds like, "Why isn't anything shifting yet? Is this even working? Maybe I'm not as gifted as I thought." Doubt in the wilderness is not a sign something is wrong. It is a sign you are right on time. Yahshua answered with the word, not with his feelings. You have to do the same. The third temptation was distraction. The enemy showed him all the kingdoms of the world and offered a shortcut to the top. This is the temptation to chase what looks like an opportunity but costs you your alignment. During this fast, that looks like engaging with people who carry low energy, feeding into gossip, or letting your attention get pulled toward drama that has nothing to do with your assignment.

Tomorrow is not just the first day of spring. It is the day the light officially overtakes the darkness. Equal ground. Then the light wins. Every ancient civilization that ever built something that lasted knew this day was significant. They built entire temples around it. They called it the real new year. And they were right. We are starting the fast tomorrow on this day on purpose. You are not just fasting. You are planting.
