On Monday, I did something I've never done on a call before. I played a recording of me closing a client. Not a role-play. Not me describing how I'd handle an objection. 𝐌𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞, with a real adventure park biz owner, being talked through our offer - nothing edited out. And by the end, you can see how this burly Scottish fella was putty in my hands. I don't know anyone else who'd put that on a screen, in front of a couple of hundred people. So why did? Well, 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 “𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐨𝐫𝐲” of something is all well and good. Most people do it, and for the most part, it works pretty well. But what’s often missing, and why most people struggle… Is that they never get that chance to 𝐛𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐗𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐋𝐘 𝐇𝐎𝐖 the coffee date plays out …which means they never really understand WHERE, WHY, and WHAT parts of the conversation win the client over and “𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐞𝐬”. That was about 15 minutes of Monday’s call. The rest of it felt less like an in-depth training session and more like a paint-by-numbers handover. The reason being, everyone who joined me live… Walked away with our 𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞, along with my permission to swipe it, copy it, and use it for their own lumpy mail campaign. I shared the 𝐩𝐢𝐩𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫 we use in-house to keep track of all the packages we’ve sent, the coffee dates we’ve booked, the clients we’ve closed, and the follow-ups we’ve done. I shared our 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬, our direct mail 𝐒𝐎𝐏𝐬, our 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰-𝐮𝐩 sequences, 𝐨𝐧𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 process - the full shebang. All of it, shared in a private group, along with the 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 AND our 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭-𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬. Speaking of replays… Officially, there isn’t one. Not in the way you're used to anyway. Where we email it out to you, plaster it all over our YouTube channel, our socials, etc. And I do feel a lil’ guilty about that. I know a lot of you wanted to be on that live call with me but couldn’t make it. But there’s another reason… I wanna help people book coffee dates and 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 - 𝐈𝐍-𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍.
