Welcome to the Wild Classroom 🌴
Hello! My name is Rose & I’ve spent over 25 years teaching science to all age groups, participating in co-ops, conducting homeschool evaluations, & teaching my own children. Through it all, one truth has stayed clear: learning doesn’t turn on & off — it’s happening all the time! The Wild Classroom exists to help families of all kinds: - See learning everywhere — in nature, at home, and in everyday life - Feel confident guiding science and curiosity-based learning - Reduce stress and pressure around “doing enough” - Trust that curiosity leads to meaningful understanding This is a calm, supportive space — there’s no comparison, no perfection, & no judgment here. To keep it that way, we don’t allow self-promotion, service offers, or unsolicited DMs. 👉 Please introduce yourself below: - Your name - Your children’s ages - One thing your child is naturally curious about right now I’ll respond personally & welcome you to the community. I’m excited to learn alongside you! Warmly, Mrs. Rose 🐬

Hi! My name is Lacie and I am a mother to one 7-year old girl who absolutely loves all things geology and animals! We live in a desert thst gets to be between 110-120 degrees regularly in the summer, so exploring outdoors becomes difficult. During the fall, winter, and spring though we love being outside and exploring all the different trails to observe the animals, plants, and rocks around us!

If you had THREE wishes and could travel ANYWHERE in the world to experience the most incredible science, nature, and wonder our planet has to offer... Where would you go? 🤔 Would you: 🌋 Explore active volcanoes in Iceland? 🐢 Swim alongside sea turtles in the Galápagos? 🌌 Watch the Northern Lights dance across the Arctic sky? 🦋 Wander through a rainforest bursting with biodiversity?🐋 Observe migrating whales in the wild? 🏜️ Study ancient fossils in a remote desert? Imagine there were no limits on time, distance, or budget. Just curiosity, adventure, and the opportunity to learn through real-world experiences! ✨ What are your THREE dream destinations, and what scientific or natural phenomenon would you most want your family to experience there? Drop your answers below! 👇 #HomeschoolLife #Worldschooling #NatureStudy #ScienceEducation #HomeschoolCommunity #LearningThroughAdventure #CuriousKids #FamilyTravel #STEMEducation #OutdoorLearning 🌍🔭🌱

My three choices would be: 🌋 Explore active volcanoes in Iceland, 🐢 Swim alongside sea turtles in the Galápagos, 🏜️ Study ancient fossils in a remote desert. In my house we are all about geology, archeology, and animals! All the time. Most of what we focus on for learning and fun revolves around 1 of these 3 themes. 😀
