Behind every Ausbildung success is a story of hard work and determination. Today, we're happy to share another of our applicant's journey to becoming an Azubi in Germany. "Hi! I would like to thank WorkStudyGermanyPH, especially Ma'am Averose, for helping me with everything, kahit anong oras pa yan. Sobrang helpful and bilis ng process — di ako makakarating ng Deutschland without their team's help. Highly recommend them sa mga gusto makapag-Germany na, hehehe. Thank you so much! Lovelots!" Thank you, Ms. Marithe, for letting us be part of this milestone. Stories like yours are what keep us motivated to help more Filipinos find their place in Germany. If an Ausbildung in Germany is part of your own plans, know that it starts with a single, courageous step. Keep pushing, stay prepared, and hold on to your goal.

A piece of advice for anyone planning to move to Germany
One thing I’ve learned is that moving to Germany should be seen as a long-term project and a life project, not a race. Sometimes, we put so much pressure on ourselves to get to Germany as quickly as possible that we forget to properly prepare for what comes after. If your goal is to study, work, or build a life in Germany, there is no need to rush just because you want to arrive as soon as possible. Planning and preparation are just as important as getting there. One of the most important things you can do before going to Germany is to build a strong foundation in the German language. Don’t learn German only because you need an A1, A2, B1, or B2 certificate. The certificate is only one step. What really matters is being able to communicate with people, understand what is happening around you, talk to your colleagues, understand instructions at work, and handle everyday situations independently. Once you are in Germany, you may not have the same time or energy to focus seriously on learning the language. You may have work, studies, paperwork, responsibilities, and many other things to deal with. So, if you need to delay your plans by a few months to improve your German and prepare yourself properly, don’t see that as a failure or a waste of time. There will always be opportunities. Taking a few extra months to prepare yourself better can be much more valuable than rushing to Germany and then spending an entire year struggling because you weren’t ready. It’s better to arrive prepared than to arrive early. Take your time, build your language skills, make a realistic plan, and trust the process. 🇩🇪🙏 Your goal is not simply to go to Germany. Your goal is tobuild a better life there.

Welcome to Germany, Ms. Marithe and Ms. Disery!
Ahead of you are new routines to learn, a new language to master, and moments that will push you outside your comfort zone. But that's exactly how growth happens, one adjustment, one small win at a time. There's no rush to have it all figured out. What matters most is showing up each day, staying open to learning, and holding on to the reason you started this journey in the first place. Keep practicing your German, build genuine friendships along the way, and trust the process. We're grateful you chose WorkStudyGermanyPH to walk this path with you. May your Ausbildung be fulfilling, your days in Germany be filled with good health and good people and be full of opportunity. This is just chapter one — we can't wait to watch the rest unfold. Congratulations, Ms. Marithe and Ms. Disery!

Believe God, not your own
Today, I prayed to God. I said, “Lord, I know my journey to Germany won’t be easy, but it’s not impossible. I enrolled in a language school, and I’m almost done with my A1 class, but I just seem to be convinced that I have the tools I need to move on to the next step. I am honest enough to say that I rely too much on the language school, but can you blame me? I am working full-time, and having four hours of intensive classes every day, Monday to Friday, after a long day at the office has burned me out. The love and motivation for going to Germany slowly fade every night. During class, I feel like I’m just waiting for the class to finish. This is not the way or process I want to learn the language because I know that German, or Deutsch, is a beautiful language. I stumbled upon a TikToker who teaches German and perhaps other languages as a polyglot. She said that maybe it’s not the language itself, but rather the state of mind you have while studying it. The exhaustion, the stress of catching up, and the fast pace of teaching at the language school are not ideal for me. Reason why stop attending the online class and just surrender it to God. Learning German should be enjoyed not considered a burden
