Kyle talks about how this strategy can make money if the market goes down (simply making bearish trades i guess is the point there) will the strategy still work in the case of a severe market crash, like the one that happened in the early 20th century? Or would that be a different scenario than just a severe dip like what happened with Covid e.g.? Thanks

Well, according to Ghostbusters it's a “focused, non-terminal repeating phantasm, or a class 5 full roaming vapor”. Especially the repeating bit. Let's take a gander at this Casinogeist creature. Familiar face? Same hair? Suspiciously similar pyjamas? Oh dear. It's YOU! It's your gambling alter ego, sporting glowing eyes, a deranged grin and casino chips that disappear faster than your common sense. I've met and battled mine, and the fight was rather expensive. Perhaps yours appears after a loss, insisting that “one more trade” will put things right. When that goes pear-shaped, we double the stakes, because apparently twice the risk will frighten the market into behaving. We're on the casino floor trying to escape, whilst our phantasm wants another spin. Your trading rules are somewhere under the roulette table. Nobody's looked for it since first light. Before we lose our shirts too, who you gonna call? Your companions in The Freedom Formula make rather good ghostbusters. Step away from the screen, retrieve your daily plan, and have a natter with someone who has also seen their alter ego. And remember we can trap Das Casinogeist, but we can't dispatch it permanently. Even experienced traders get repeat hauntings. Spotting our own ghastly reflection is a useful cue to stop clicking before another account joins the dearly departed.
