Very common. I’ve seen schools buy new tech like gym equipment in January: exciting at first, abandoned by spring. The problem usually isn’t the tool. It’s that nothing else changed. Teachers still lack time. Students still need motivation. Schedules still fight good instruction. Leaders still want miracles by Friday. I once watched a great teacher with a dry erase marker beat an expensive platform in twenty minutes because she knew her students better than any algorithm. Tools can be powerful. But without coherent systems, they become expensive wallpaper.

I like to put a bunch of incorrect things on the board and ask my students what they think.
