Hi Tribers! @Kristine Fotland and I had a convo in the DMs that inspired this post! 💕 Welcome here Kristine!!! 💕 When it comes to playing music… I have seen lots of people saying “wish my parents made me stick w it” later, as grown ups. Teenager years are - you either get really good or quit (for a bit or for decades). For some reason I don’t see too often a middle ground. Is it cuz “they (your parents) made you do it and now you WANT TO DO IT? Which one are you?

Love this convo! My journey was a bit different: I have grieved most my life because I DID NOT pursue music. It never really occurred to me I could at 50. Listen, my pursuit is purely for my own enjoyment - so maybe, in retrospect, my reaaaalllly crappy upbringing, kept me from burning out on music, and I'm able to pursue it now with "no strings attached". I'm so you found this inspiring! Thank you for making the group!
