Life has been a whirlwind lately!
Day 2
Quick one today: did you get your movement in yet? Also, did you do it in the morning or evening? For me this morning was a walk and a few minutes qi gong (the spinal mobility and heart opening movements always feel great in the morning, especially when the sun's bright).

Yes! EVERYDAY! The movement is so absolutely important for my mental health, and my sleep. I walk and walk and walk, and also practice a few yoga poses. Today I added a few squats.
It's kickoff day!
Today is day 1 of our 7-day restorative sleep kickstart and I'd love for everyone to share: - Which herb you chose to support you this week. - Which movement practice (walking, qi gong, or yoga) you've selected. - If you've already done your movement practice for the day, how did it go? If you need a quick refresh, the kickstart is here: #Let's Begin I'll get us started: this morning I went for a walk, did some some spinal cord breathing + knocking on the door of life (2 exercises from qi gong). I was feeling extra energized, so I did a few minutes of bodyweight work and 5 minutes of jumprope (still working on the footwork)!

Oh wonderful! Life has been moving so fast lately, I can't wait to dig into this. I've had several good night sleeps in a row, and last night I did NOT have a good night sleep. Wow, what a difference a good restorative sleep makes!
Get ready for our next challenge - 1 week from now
Hi lovelies! Our next challenge is in the works starts on Monday, June 22nd. This one will be a Restorative Sleep Kickstart to go with the Restorative Sleep course. OVERVIEW Starting Monday June 22nd - Sunday June 28th, we'll be focusing on two aspects of restorative sleep: - Herbs - Movement WHAT YOU WILL NEED For herbs, CHOOSE ONE of these nervines (nervous system herbs): - Milky oats (considered a restorative for a depleted nervous system, take as tincture) - Chamomile (relaxing, mildly sedating, drink as tea) - Lemon balm (relaxing, mildly sedating, take as tea) For movement, CHOOSE ONE of these mindful movements: - yoga - walking - qi gong I will be adding a page to the Restorative Sleep Course for this 7-day kickstart. That page will include links to YouTube videos for yoga and qi gong. I will also provide my own video demo of a short qigong set that I like to use daily. For now start thinking about which herb and which movement you'd like to explore. To familiarize yourself with the herbs, watch lesson 2 from the sleep course and see which one resonates with you. šŸ‘‰ Please share which herb and movement you're leaning towards!
