Sunday Reflection: Your Animal Companion - Student or Partner?
Conversations this week have me thinking about the unrecognized depth of our relationships. Whether with a human partner, or animal companion. Most relationships push us to become more than we were the day before... the relationship before... We may see ourselves as the caregiver, as the one doing the prompting, tending to needs, but in reality, this process is actually helping to shape our lives and our understanding of one another. We push, they push back or they comply... they push, we push back or comply... It's an intricate dance of growth and connection. Whether you see this as a soul partnership, or as something random between two individuals, the way we relate to each other is part of our continued mutual development and healing. Here is something to ponder in your quiet moments of reflection... What have I had to step into, or become, in order to be in care for them? Think of the ways you've grown since they came into your life, perhaps without even noticing. What have I had to learn to truly meet them where they are? Not to fix or change them, but to understand them and be with them exactly as they are. Has this actually been one of the lessons you have had to learn? When you begin to see your animal companion as more than your responsibility, and actually as your partner in this lifetime, something shifts. Caring for them stops being only a chore and becomes a relationship that's shaping you as much as it shapes them.

My darling dog Lipton, is my best friend and mentor. From that day I learned animal communication everything shifted. Our connversations are filled with both laughter and tears. I so love that he share his wisdom with me. Liptons way of thinking is so simple and beautiful. I´m so grateful that he choose me to be his human.

@Arlana Tanner definitely a challenge, Lipton reacted to my emotions big time. At that time I was sick in burn out depression, I thought I was well but I was so wrong. I was so afraid that I would destroy him, my guilt was enormous. Today I’m so proud over not giving up on us and kept on searching for answers. We’re on a beautiful journey me and Lipton and our goal is to help others. It’s
