Thrilled to be here! What sci-fi worlds are we building? 🌌
Hey everyone! Just joined the community and wanted to drop a quick note to say hello. The focus here on narrative architecture and worldbuilding is right up my alley, and I’m really looking forward to learning from the editors and authors in this space. @Randall Surles Randall, I am incredibly honored to hear that! Knowing that it serves as a helpful example for the veterans you work with means the absolute world to me. Fictionalizing those real, heavy experiences to make a powerful statement is such vital work, they are lucky to have your guidance. Also, that is a brilliant narrative solution for your time travel book! Permanently stranding characters in the past cuts out the paradox headaches and raises the emotional stakes instantly. It forces them to truly adapt to their new reality. It sounds like a fantastic project!
