Im actually doing the same for my civic, ig it depends on what club/events you’ll be going to. I would say if ur starting with an already working car go for suspension based mods, if ur building or swapping make sure it meets the regulations. Caelan also isnt wrong abt following a build guide. I didnt when rebuilding my d series but ig we’ll see how that works out in a bit lol. good luck man!
Welcome! Introduce yourself, and share your goals
Racing (even in grassroots) is a public, community-driven sport, and this community is built around shared learning! Please introduce yourself: - Where you're located - How long you've been participating in motorsport (If you're new, welcome!) - What progress you've made - Short term goal (.5-2 years) - Long term goal (3-10 years) Photos are welcome!

Just realized I haven’t actually made a comment on this post and I apologize. My name is Kristian, I am 19 years old and born/raised in Las Vegas. Didn’t grow up rich or anything, but I love cars and rn I’m actually rebuilding my Honda to get into motorsports. I have epilepsy and I want to use motorsports as a way to bring awareness and support to the cause. (And yes I can still race with epilepsy, its a certain type that doesn’t interfere with anything racing related nor triggered.) My short term goal is to get into the scene. Grass roots, wheel to wheel, endurance, etc. My long term is to make it to IMSA and many other forms of motorsports. I want to start with IMSA but build a resume of all sorts, like rally, nascar, indy, trophy, etc. All I can say is I’m giving it my all and I can’t wait to see you guys on the grid!
Question of the Day - 04FEB2026
(Missed yesterday’s, sorry!!) What is one thing that you feel is misunderstood about you and your desires to race?

Honestly I feel ppl dont understand my desire period. Like “oh you wanna race, why?” “You could die” “don’t you need to start early and have money?” All I hear, but I tell myself and anyone and everyone around me that I can’t sit down, and look myself in the eye knowing I didnt try. I can’t lie to my future children that they can do everything and anything they want if I didn’t set the example.
Updates! Release dates, etc.
Hey all, My unit just got on IRF, hence the lack of interactions lately. I will assure you that the community WILL continue. But here's some changes coming: - No more daily questions for now - not enough interaction to justify it during my busiest of times. - Instead of daily questions, there'll be weekly/bi-weekly discussion posts - Orientation to be released (hopefully) this weekend, pending I'm not working through it If you guys have any ideas for the community, I'd love to hear them, especially if it'll make things better! Please understand that this is just a temporary change - in the meantime, I'd love to see more interactions in the community from you guys! Thanks for the understanding!

Hey bro, no worries. I see how consistent you have been with everything and just wanted to get on here and say we appreciate you. We hope you are staying safe man, especially during these busy times. As for ideas I think the weekly/bi weekly questions are a great thing. Maybe some updates on how you yourself are doing and maybe stories of past experiences in racing wouldn’t be a bad idea. Something for us to look at and relate/admire. Excited for whats to come man and proud of what you’ve been doing. Stay safe man!
