What is your favourite vegetable?
I have been talking vegetables in this group (cabbage) and in another group today (broccoli) so I thought I would ask you: 1. What is your favourite vegetable? 2. What memory does it evoke for you? No least favourite vegetables - just favourite!

I’ll always choose Silk. Preferably one already sewn as I’m not a fan of hemming it myself although I can- by machine. I really don’t like hand sewing unless it’s embroidery. Colors? Greens, blues, maybe some purples or pinks. Mermaid colors.

It’s slow going because of my back not healing right, but I’ve finally finished the resist work on the silk banner I’m making. The Lady Fortuna flag. It’s still taped down to my table to dry completely. Next I will stretch it on a frame and begin painting. Then heat set it all and add ties and/or a tube of fabric so it can be flown on a flagpole. Then I’ll send it off to the guy who commissioned it. It’s slow going with the pain in my back.

I am a day behind because I wanted to get the video replay out to you today. I teach a creative process: Saturate, Percolate, Create, Celebrate and Rejuvenate. This process can occupy us over years or it can iterate in a minute. The first stage is Saturate and one of the easiest ways to 'saturate ourselves without getting overwhelmed is using the 3Ss. This week’s game: 3S Snapshot Prompt: Share one small piece of inspiration from one of these during the week: • Search Engine (something you saw) • Someone Else (a quote, idea, conversation) • Self (a thought or realisation) One image or one sentence per “S” is plenty. Share at anytime during the week as they come to you. How to play: • Post your 3S snapshot • Reply to someone else’s • Support each other Here is a little inspiration from me https://pin.it/6OW3VcuZX

@Debra Verrall sooooo much fun. I wouldn’t be able to do it now- broke my spine. This event began during the pandemic when people were housebound. But it is a lot of fun. And extra creative! This was just one of many tasks we did. We sort of set the bar in the first one. You have to do all 90 items to really win. And that is a lot of work even for a team of 10 to do in about 10 days. But it really is a lot of fun.

@Jane Harbison it didn’t exist until the COVID shutdown.this is the 7th one apparently, so it doesn’t happen regularly or in any kind of schedule. I was still in the hospital last year from breaking my spine.
What type of music do you like listening to?
I am listening to Funky Cat at the moment. I put in ‘Shake your Goove thang’ into Spotify and then it continued to dish up one funky, very danceable tune one after the other. Perfect for a warm Autumn evening here in Brisbane.
