I'm meeting with a higher up in Skool tomorrow and would like to use this post as examples of what people like and don't like about the Purge: - Your personal pros and cons - What you think about how it affects the rest of the platform. - Whether or not the removal from Discovery was warranted or - Anything else on your minds related to the purge.
Once I figured out what the heck was happening…i enjoyed the little bit I could be part of the purge. Apologies for the pooping fruit and legumes 🥜. Perhaps that pushed us over the edge. I joined four new aligned communities of skoolyard members as a result of the purge. I saw them having fun, not taking something personally, or uniquely expressing themselves. That piqued my curiosity enough to go and check out what they were doing…and jump in if it seemed like a fit. Also, it was refreshing to not have everyone working hard to show up as a ‘thought leader’…. Just be a hooman for a bit. It levels the playing field and I think perhaps allows walls to drop a bit. Having a mute button for people we follow would be handy
Here's to @Jack Robinson and the Skoolyard for being GOOD AT IT! The Purge was fun! We got some manic ridiculousness out of our systems, spammed the ever living hell out of each other, spent time chatting in live calls, broke Skool a little bit, and caused some mayhem! This is how we community! To hell with being good. We're good at it!
