I am an aspiring author who dabbles in many hobbies (mostly creative), but writing and storytelling has long been my passion. I hope to find the motivation to publish collections of both my short stories and my poems. I already have a large collection, but now I must select and edit pieces for publishing from among the piles. I hope to learn and grow alongside everyone here within this group!

As your writing gets closer to a final draft, how do you see it becoming published? Will you try to get attention from an established publisher, or would you rather go for the self-publishing route? Why?

Hello, I'm Kris. I'm a graphic designer and writer – but I don't write as much as I would like to. I hope to direct more time towards that in the next months. I'm exploring typography and book design, and I hope to find inspiration and help people out in this community with what I can. I'm curious to see how aspiring authors think when they're getting closer to publishing their texts. I spend way too much time looking for the right font in my work, and I'd like to help others see why typefaces are important in the reading experience. See you in the comments!
