Offer clinic: can a client understand what you sell?
Paste your offer using this format: “I help [customer] handle [specific workflow] by building [small software deliverable]. The first version includes [three things]. We will test it by [acceptance check].” Example: “I help small service teams keep track of unanswered quotes. I'll build one shared quote list, a next-follow-up view and a notes screen. We'll test it with ten sample quotes and two staff accounts.” Review someone else's offer before leaving. Can you tell who buys it, what changes in their week and where the scope ends? Ask about whatever is unclear. If this is your first draft, label assumptions you haven't checked with a potential customer yet. Clear questions are welcome here; you don't need a finished pitch.

This week's build desk: what are you finishing?
Pick one deliverable for this week. Keep it small enough to finish. My deliverable: Who it helps: What “done” looks like: The part I need feedback on: Reply to one other builder with something useful: a question about their customer, a test they could run, or a simpler first version. Come back and add what happened, even if the test didn't work. New here? Your first deliverable can be Day 1 of the free sprint: choose a customer group and name five people you could learn from. No need to wait until you have an app to join in.

How we work here
1. Share actual work. A rough demo, a customer question or a failed test is useful. 2. Give specific feedback. Say what you tried, what happened and what could improve. 3. Ask before pitching. No unsolicited sales DMs, scraped member lists or link dumping. 4. Protect client information. Use invented names and sample data in screenshots and demos. Never post passwords or API keys. 5. Be honest about results. Label prototypes and hypothetical examples. Don't invent clients, revenue or testimonials. 6. Own the delivery. AI can help you build; you still need to understand and test the result. 7. Treat people well. Challenge an idea without attacking the person. Report spam or inappropriate messages to an admin. For access or billing help, message the group admin with the issue—never your payment details.

Start here: your first five days
Welcome to Standard Build. The goal is simple: learn to build useful software and turn that skill into a service a business can buy. START WITH THE FREE SPRINT https://www.skool.com/standard-build-1048/classroom/f4c5b53a?md=cfbf50d5a0c74a3da1d8e29c450db90a Day 1: Pick a customer you can reach. Day 2: Find a problem worth solving. Day 3: Write a small, clear offer. Day 4: Build a demo with sample data. Day 5: Show the demo and ask for feedback. INTRODUCE YOURSELF BELOW 1. What you do now. 2. Who you might build for. 3. How many hours you can give this each week. 4. The next thing you want to finish. Already have a project? Share the workflow and the part you're stuck on. A screenshot and one specific question are much easier to help with than “thoughts?” WHERE TO POST Get feedback on your offer: https://www.skool.com/standard-build-1048/offer-clinic-can-a-client-understand-what-you-sell Share your next deliverable: https://www.skool.com/standard-build-1048/this-weeks-build-desk-what-are-you-finishing Read the community guidelines: https://www.skool.com/standard-build-1048/how-we-work-here WHEN YOU'RE READY TO GO FURTHER The free sprint is useful on its own. Premium ($9/month) adds Agency Builder and the Client Delivery Toolkit. Compare plans here: https://www.skool.com/standard-build-1048/plans Lessons are written and self-paced. Tools and hosting are separate. You can learn the process here; clients and income aren't guaranteed. Small finished steps count. Post yours.
