@Taiyaba Saleem Hi lovely, so I've always used pre inked string but have just stopped because it drives me mental how messy it gets and have started pencilling my own thread instead. I use a caliper and one of those sticky ruler headbands to check symmetry. It's the tails I struggle most with I think - trying to get them at the same angle on each side is super tricky for me. I've just bought the purple marker but haven't used it yet - I'll definitely use it on my next client though. I've been using the sharpie tattoo pens until now but green soap just wipes it clean off! Thanks so much for the advice, that's so helpful :) Here's how that lady's first session turned out - I can definitely see a couple tweaks I'll need to make at the top up but she was happy with them thankfully! xx
