Real EDC and an EDC kit
Sometime back, I asked the group for help with bulk ruining my pants pockets. With guidance and further investigation, I came up with a solution. (EDC= every day carry) 1. Keys; I eliminated all but my house key, my office key and my vehicle fob. To save space, I joined my keys with a Chicago screw (the attachment to the ring is made from a third key that was not needed). All other keys were moved to storage. For example, my work mailbox key stays at work- no need to have it in my pocket. 2. Deep carry clip for my Swiss Army Knife. What a difference this has made. Having the knife rest vertically along my pants seam rather than horizontal at the base of my pocket has fixed the lumpy thighs problem. 3. The wallet needs a little work. I carry 8 cards. It’s hard to trim that back, but I am looking for a nice option…getting close. Finally; inspired by Altoids EDC- I wanted to make a watch maintenance kit- not for every day, but as a portable gear kit.

@Morgan John If you come up with something for the phone, I’d love to know. More and more, there’s an assumption (and therefore requirement) to have one. Last week I was invited to a sporting event- my tickets were digital and I had to download an app to receive them. Parking at a city parking spot now requires an app- I really hate carrying the phone. In fact, when I go out with my wife, I often leave my phone at home and she uses her phone for all of the “things”.

@Canyon Rehbein I struggle with this- on this particular iteration I’m focused on minimalism. I made myself decide if something is an “on your person” carry or not. I moved some things to my vehicle, some to my drawer at the office and some to my at home hobby bench.
Thinking of a new watch
Hi Gentleman I am currently looking at a couple watches Tag Heur Roles What would you recommend 🤔

@James Mckenzie You said Roles- is that Rolex? Budget is awfully tight if so. You should look at Longines. It stands a little more shoulder to shoulder with Tag. Also consider Tudor; great watches that will undercut the Rolex asking price.

I’ve mostly retired my Pagani watches as I’ve acquired more brands that don’t rely as heavily on copying styles. This one still comes out. I wear my watch on my right wrist and this is my only left-side crown. The real choice today came when I picked my green sweater and black shirt- seemed obvious.

Hey guys. Wife bought a nice new shirt. Good fabric. Seems to me it's more suited to wear with tie Though I don't have many occasions or setting where this is suitable Question here. Is it ok to wear the tip botton open? It looks better closed but my neck is not used to that 😅

I never button the top button unless I have a tie. Nice fit in the shoulders and chest. Looks like you have a slim build and might have trouble getting shirts that are slim enough around the midsection. There’s a little extra fabric around there. That’s an easy alteration for a tailor.

@Tony Verkamer I’m not really sure what shirt makers mean by “slim fit” Ironically, many of my shirts are slim fit, and “slim” would be one of the last adjectives you would choose to describe me.
Real Entrepreneurs Build Things
Ever notice how many people online talk about how successful they are with no evidence? Creating content about entrepreneurship is not entrepreneurship. Notice how almost all these people have some weird backstory about how they "used to do" something or exited some secret business nobody knows about? Real entrepreneurs build things. Things you can see. Things you can touch. If you can't see it... It's not there. Because if it were... You can bet your ass they'd be showing it. 98% of these people are complete frauds. Yes ... Even the bigger names. If they were great entrepreneurs... Why aren't they running successful companies? Stop this ridiculous shit. Go build, create, and become something so undeniable it silences every voice. Winning makes noise the world can't talk over. ~ Andy Frisella

@William Feldtmose But that money can be financed. I started by business with all borrowed money (not saying that’s a good way for everyone to do it). I’m making good money and it didn’t cost me anything.

@Sean Kavanaugh Ahh, I didn’t say it would be risk free; only that you can do it even if you don’t have cash.
