THE CRONE’S TAROT CODE
The Rules of the Lantern-Bearers: The Crone doesn’t coddle. If you’re here to be told you’re “special” without doing the inner work, you’re in the wrong woods. We read cards, not futures. Tarot is a mirror, not a crystal ball. No predictions, no guarantees, no bypassing. The cards reveal you, not the lottery numbers. Your intuition is the authority. Books are references, teachers are guides, but your voice is sovereign. You do not hand your power to anyone - not even me. Shadow is not optional. If a card triggers you, annoys you, or makes you squirm? Good. That’s the doorway. Walk through it. No “love-and-light” erasure. This is a space where darkness is allowed to have a seat at the table. We don’t shame fear. We don’t bypass pain. We honor the whole human. Gatekeeping is dead here. You don’t need 20 years of study or a lineage to pick up a deck. You just need honesty, curiosity, and willingness. We name our projections. If a reading stirs up old wounds or insecurities, we acknowledge them instead of turning them into “messages from spirit.” Respect the deck, but don’t mythologize it. Your cards are tools, not deities. Treat them well, but don’t assign them power that should belong to you. We interpret responsibly. No fearmongering, no doom readings, no telling someone “your ex is definitely coming back.” If you don’t know, you say you don’t know. We tell the truth, even when it stings. Tarot is a blade. It cuts through bullshit. And that’s why it heals. Synchronicity is sacred. Coincidence is fine too. We don’t need to turn every moment into a mystical omen. Sometimes a crow is just a crow. This is a trauma-informed space. We never use the cards to shame, guilt, or manipulate others. We honor nervous systems and lived experiences. No spiritual cosplay. We don’t borrow identities or claim powers we don’t have. We practice with integrity and humility. Curiosity over correctness. Tarot is not a test. You cannot fail it. You simply keep asking better questions.

Thank you for the message. I have a few decks and books but it is like I can't remember the meaning of the cards to do accurate readings. I have a beginner's deck as well but I want to get better at reading without the information on the cards.

The Crone’s Three Ways - my card
Last night I had a quiet moment to sit with a card. I have previously studied the guidebook that came with my cards, but after I went through the book, I’ve since tried to trust my intuition since I’m still getting to know the practice. My deck showed me the 6 of wands. Here’s what I found: Seeing - Red and orange. Fiery colors. A warrior on a horse, both cloaked in victory. The warrior is holding a stick(wand) with a celebration wreath hoisted in the air. He looks to the sky while a crowd surrounds him, also raising wands in the air. There are trees behind them and bushes in the front. One wrist in the crowd has a piece of armor around it. The sky is bright and sunny above. Feeling - The warrior looks exhausted from battle and relieved to have won, to have survived. It’s almost as if the crowd is holding him up as well as the horse. Looking at this card, I feel pride and relief, but also the fire and heat from the colors I mentioned. It feels like a bright summer day. Hearing - This card seems to ask me “Are you celebrating the moments of victory? Are you allowing yourself to rest after having been through the battle? Are you allowing others to join in your celebration?” This was an incredible way to dig deeper into what I find in reading. I’m excited to continue on this quest, exploring these ways and building up the trust in my intuition without running to the guidebook to validate my instincts. I can’t wait to see what I find!

Thank you! I have always been drawn to divinations tools. I do use pendulums and oracle cards, but it is like the tarot meanings escape me even with the many books I have, it's too much information at once. I want to learn the meanings and do accurate readings and I have much graditude for this community. There were many others I saw but I was drawn to this one once I saw it. This seeker is ready🙂
