I did it! First software ready.
It's finally here! I have no understanding of technology, and I was able to build a software using makerai and lovable. Please check it out: academe-hub.com and let me know your honest feedback, what changes need to be done. Thank you to this community and to @Jonathan Montoya and Mila Markson.

Looks great! I have a lot of friends who homeschooled their kids. They’re all grown now, but everything was done in notebooks. Lots of paper and not really organized. Good job!

@Veronica Giambrone and I love the bilingual aspect! I need to incorporate that into mine.
Turning My Etsy Pain Point Into My First AI Software App
Hey everyone, I’m Mike. I joined because I’m trying to turn real-world experience into useful software with AI. I used MakerAI to help guide and shape my first app, ClickReadyAI, which is built for Etsy sellers who need help creating product images and improving listings without spending hours guessing what to do. My background is not coding. I’ve worked in nursing leadership and project management, and I also run Etsy/Amazon print-on-demand shops. That’s where the idea came from. I kept seeing how much time sellers waste on listings, mockups, SEO, and product presentation. That includes me. MakerAI helped me take the messy idea in my head and turn it into something more structured: Who is this for? What painful problem does it solve? What should version 1 include? How would someone use it? How might it eventually make money? I’m still early, but I’m excited to keep building and learn from everyone here. Question for the group: For your first AI software project, did you start with a problem you personally experienced, or did you start by researching a profitable niche?

@Michael Krumlauf I won’t share the personal one until I have it trademarked. The other is ninetydaybtp.com.

@Michael Krumlauf As my ChaptGPT told me, Your ideas spawn faster than popcorn in a microwave. So there's no real process at the beginning. I talk to ChatGPT and it translates into revenue streams. It's very important to just talk and not type. You will spend too much time fixing what you're trying to explain.
Epiphany
Woke up this morning with an idea that actually made me leap out of bed. Not one of those “meh, I’ll think about it later” ideas. Nope. This one hits where I live—35+ years in the live entertainment world, where glamour is a lie and soul-sucking chaos is real. I pitched it to a few friends. One said, “That’s f***ing genius!” One person. That’s all I needed. Ego = satisfied. Fast forward nine hours at my desk. I’ve been building, planning, cackling at my own brilliance… and only used 20 Lovable credits. Now I’m down to verifying 170 website links before I upload the database. Because yes, I’m obsessive. ChatGPT searched for competitors. None exist. Zilch. Nada. So yeah—I’m about to copyright and trademark this thing. It’s free… for now. Premium features coming later: monthly, lifetime, affiliate links, venue sponsors, ads—basically ways to make money without making anyone hate me. I’m excited. For two years, I’ve been trying to invent something tied to my job, thinking either nothing existed or the billion-dollar companies were already on it. Spoiler: they weren’t. I’ll post again when it’s live. And yes—I’ll probably gloat a little.
MakerAI Courses
I've clicked the links in my email to access the courses, but they won't unlock in classroom. Will someone please give me access? Thanks!

@Rock Roche If you want everything, yes. You can get started with the free stuff, but I need the extra help.
Software Question
I understand MakerAI is building the software for our websites. But is it possible to take the website to turn it into an app that people can download to their phones?

@PJ Posey thank you!!! I want people to have the app on their phone. Not have to depend on someone's wifi.
