Tasty Tuesday
As family child care providers, we do so much more than serve meals and snacks. We help shape lifelong healthy habits. Every time we offer colorful fruits and vegetables, encourage children to try something new, or sit together for a positive mealtime experience, we are teaching valuable lessons about nutrition and wellness. Children learn by watching the adults around them. When we model healthy eating, talk positively about food, and create a relaxed atmosphere at the table, we help children build a healthy relationship with food. Small changes and consistent exposure can make a big difference over time. What's one healthy meal, snack, or nutrition tip that has been a hit in your program lately? Share your ideas below and inspire other providers!

Motivational Mondays
A fresh new week brings a brand-new chance to reset, refocus, and step into our goals with intention. Whether last week felt productive or completely chaotic, Monday reminds us that we get another opportunity to prioritize what matters most, create routines that support us, and set small, meaningful goals for a successful week ahead. Taking just a few moments to think about priorities can help us feel more organized, motivated, and ready to handle whatever comes our way—because good weeks are often built one intentional step at a time. Reflection Prompt: What is one goal, habit, or priority you want to focus on this week to help make it a positive and productive one?
Week of May 10
Child care is more than supervision — it’s building relationships, creating safe spaces, and helping children grow into confident, capable humans. Every story read, snack shared, hug given, and milestone celebrated matters more than we may ever fully realize. Early childhood educators are planting seeds that will last a lifetime. Share one activity you’ve got planned this week that will impact our profession.

Figure out what matters to you!
And then make that a priority! This video is one of my all time favorites when it comes to thinking about how we manage our time and priorities. What speaks to you from this clip? https://youtu.be/oHlP_xAjXCg?si=d9ioY8lw9xrglx37
