No Alcohol?
I really don't know how not drink alcohol, it's such a big part of culture in Germany... I also don't know what to do on weekend eves if I decide that I avoid situations with lot's of alcohol. I am single right now and I really don't want to stay at home. I love my friends but they like to party 😅 And I don't feel the desire to replace them...Any ideas? I am really lost 😂

Hiii I’m 2.5 years sober and it was the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. I can tell you I was the biggest party girl and If you would’ve told me 3 years ago that I’d be sober I wouldn’t have believed you. I loved the socializing aspect of it. Some things that helped me were still going out with your friends and socializing but getting a mocktail instead. I would always tell the bartender I’m not drinking and ask if they could make me a mocktail or make me something fun. I would hangout for a few hours and then once the shots started coming out or the level of peoples voices started to rise because they were getting drunk then I would say I’m going home. Or just do an Irish goodbye. Another thing that helped was I started to pick up some new hobbies. I started baking cakes, reading, and painting. It kept me occupied during the weekends and after work. If you still want a drink they make non alcoholic drinks and there are so many different kinds of mocktails you can make to still feel cute and like your drinking just without the alcohol. And lastly for me something I never thought would come up is the loneliness. After three months of being sober my friends stopped inviting me out and asking me to go places. So at that moment I realised why people relapsed. It was so tempting to just start drinking again but I was feeling so good and so healthy that I was like no, I’m going to stick to this because my friends that love me and are here for me will be here no matter if I drink or not. So I lost a lot of people I thought were friends but they were replaced with people who were like minded and helped me grow. If you decide to follow through with no alcohol I can send you some fun mocktail recipes. Or I can just be here to talk to if you have any questions or want some more guidance about the journey 💛💛💛

Hello beautiful people ! I am Mia, and I am happy to join the High Vibe Tribe. As an empath, I sometimes find it difficult to keep my vibrations high in social settings (especially at work). I’d like to learn being less permeable energetically around people. Does anyone relate? Since i joined the community, I started doing breath-work with Aaron’s videos, which i feel is already making a difference. Now i’d like to unlock level 2, for that i need likes. Thanks! I very much enjoy conversations about music, spirituality, psychology and other topics that help a better understanding of people and this world. I’m curious about you. What’s an experience that changed your vision of the world?

Hiiii Mia! I’m super empathetic too and something that’s helped me before I go out in public I reach out all of my love and bring it all into me so I’m protected first. I went to an energy 101 class and I learned that my energy field that day was 12 feet all around me so everyone in that 12 foot radius was in my “energy bubble” and she helped me reign the energy in towards myself and then my energy was just a foot all around me because I was able to harness my own energy for myself. That way I didn’t pick up on anyone else’s energy and feel drained or overwhelmed. Hope that helps you because it was a game changer for me 💛
Self worth
I'm seriously having a hard time treating myself as I want to be treated. Or such.... hw do I get out if this funk?

Something that’s helped me is doing things for yourself in your love language. If you’re not sure what that is there is tests online that you can take. For me mine is acts of services. So I’ll do things that make my life a little easier like I’ll make sure the kitchen or my bedroom is clean before I go to bed so in the morning I don’t have to worry about cleaning when I get home and it gives me a clean space to work in the mornings because I like things being organized. Or I’ll make myself a bunch of fresh squeezed juice for the week so I have something healthy to drink in the mornings. If your love language is quality time. Doing things like a face mask, or going to see a movie, things that you loved as a child. If it’s gifts. You could go shopping or get yourself a coffee and treat it like it’s a little date for yourself. I find that the things you want to feel loved are the things you should be doing for yourself. Saying nice things to yourself, taking yourself on dates, buying yourself flowers, writing love notes to yourself. All of these little things start to add up and you’ll notice that once you start to love yourself more. More love comes to you 💛 And one more thing. I use to believe the saying “treat others the way you want to be treated” but the more I’ve been on my healing journey I’ve realised it’s “treat “YOURSELF the way you want others to treat you” Sending you so much love during this time 💛💛💛
