Reflect on your perception
Your perception determines your actions. But what shapes your perception? Stress? Habits? Expectations? Question: What influences the way you see things? I'm looking forward to read your answers and discuss with you 😊

Everything can have some Influence on my way to see things. For example when I hear a repetition of a statement or a special phrase/worldview i tend to see things more like that, doesn't matter if it is me telling that or someone else. It’s therefore also influenced by the people surrounding me, how they see different things and talk about it. But additionally I agree with what Tomas’ said, that the brain expect certain patterns though familiar situations. For me it’s like gathering new views, ideas and information through people, the Internet or Books etc. and then returning back to myself to reevaluate the things i’ve perceived and sort or integrate it into my existing world.
Mechanism of Transformation
Practice shapes perception. Perception shapes action. Action shapes identity. Identity shapes relationships. This is how change happens. Not by thinking differently. But by experiencing things differently. Question: Where do you see this in your life?

For me personal its the way of interacting with other People. I can see where my Strengths are and where other people are in their Power. So I can adjust to this Situation how I react and understand why other people are acting like they have never done anything else in their life, while for me it`s an unusual and even difficult Act. So im trying not to think about what should be different in this or that situation or even with me. Instead I am working on accepting the situations and find spots where I feel well to share and act.
Reflection: Knowing vs Living
Think about something you 'know'. Presence. Calm. Clarity. Etc. Now ask: Can you access it when it matters? That gap is where practice begins. Question: Where do you feel this gap most clearly?

I would say that I can feel the Gap when I`m not thinking to much. Either when doing some physical activity, where my Awareness moves in my Body and the Work I`m doing or when I try to focus on one Thing. When I remember myself to only focus on this specific Thing and try to cut out all the disturbing factors for this Moment.
Notice the pattern (a challenge for the next weeks)
The upcoming weeks, our goal is not to become someone else. Instead, we are learning to observe more closely. Life often brings us back to similar moments, such as a familiar tension, a recurring conflict, the same hesitation, the same inner pressure, or the same need to prove, avoid, control, or withdraw. The pattern may look the same. But if we pay attention, we will see that something is different. That difference matters. For this challenge, your task is simple: - Notice one recurring pattern in your life. - Don't try to fix it immediately. - Don't judge it. - Just observe it more clearly. You might notice a pattern in: - How you react under pressure. - How you speak in certain relationships - How you deal with uncertainty. - How you perform, withdraw or push. - How your body changes in familiar situations. Throughout the next weeks, return to this question: What repeats, and what is different this time? If you would like to join, please comment. I’m in! If you have already noticed a pattern, share it in one word or one sentence below. Learn more about this challenge.

I’m in :)
Welcome!
This is not a place to collect ideas. It's a place to experience them. This month, we will be exploring: What does it mean to live philosophy, rather than just think about it? Start here: 1) Who are you? 2) What brought you here? 3) What are you curious about? Then respond to one post. That’s enough.

Hey, 1) I am Kilian and living in Heidelberg, Germany right now. 2) By chance I came in contact with martial Arts and after a while I felt something changed in my daily Life. Because of some Background in Meditation I found myself in a new way of moving and thinking about sports especially Martial Arts. Here I want to learn more about the philosophical Part of Training and Living. 3) I’m curious about all the challenges coming up in this Community and also about what we can discover in ourselves.
