Today, I joined team Insight Explorer to ensure our project was ready for presentation, adhering to best practices. There was a mock presentation/show-and-tell to review the work done so far. Despite receiving positive feedback, there are still some improvements needed to exceed expectations. I will be joining the team to make the necessary adjustments ahead of the main presentation on Thursday.

Today, while working on the Palmoria Project, I gained understanding of creating a dedicated table to store newly created measures leaving my work calculations organized. Additionally, I successfully corrected an error in the "Salary" dataset during the data cleaning and transformation process. This involved identifying and removing non-numeric characters and ensuring the data type was appropriately set, which was crucial for accurate analysis and reporting.

I joined the team Insight Explorers to work on the team project. I worked alongside the team on my laptop creating the first visualization which was for the employee distribution ; by location, gender and department. I also learnt new DAX formula used in creating some measures.

Last Friday, I successfully completed an assigned task for a project I am a team member of—Project Jingo-Bell. The task involved working on a 90-day marketing content calendar. I fleshed out and populated the calendar with relevant content, specifying the aim of each piece—whether to educate, create awareness, convince, or inspire. I also detailed the various platforms for distribution, such as social media, blogs, and newsletters, and the formats, including videos, articles, and webinars. This aim of this is to ensure alignment with our overall digital marketing strategy.

During the Knowledge Sharing Session, we reviewed the exercise assigned to the class. I reviewed my work based on the feedback received, which included ensuring uniform colours, using the brush tool to copy and paste formats to save time, and removing titles. I implemented all these corrections accordingly to ensure the presentation looks professional.
