Teaching on Genesis 1:28
“Be Fruitful” — פְּרוּ (Peru) God didn’t say, “Try.” He commanded fruit. Fruit means: - Character - Mindset - Ideas - Creativity - Purpose - Vision - Results God built fruit inside you. You’re not trying to become fruitful — you’re already wired for it. “Multiply” — רְבוּ (Rebu) God never intended you to remain the same. Increase is not a blessing — it’s a command. You’re supposed to grow in: - influence - responsibility - faith - maturity - resources - wisdom - impact When you feel the stretching, that’s multiplication beginning. “Fill the Earth” — מִלְאוּ (Mil’u) God wants you to complete what He started in you. Fill the earth with: - His presence - His wisdom - His character - His image - Your assignment - Your gifts - Your testimony Everywhere you go, emptiness should disappear. Every room you walk in should be different because you’re there. “Subdue It” — וְכִבְשֻׁהָ (Kibshuhah) You are not weak. You are not meant to be pushed around mentally, spiritually, or emotionally. Subdue means: - Take control - Set order - Set boundaries - Push back darkness - Conquer chaos - Refuse defeat Anything that fights your destiny must be subdued. “Have Dominion” — רְדוּ (Redu) Dominion is identity. You were created to rule, not react. To govern, not drift. To lead, not follow fear. Dominion means: - You speak with authority - You move with confidence - You live with purpose - You understand your assignment - You walk like a son and daughter of God Dominion is not arrogance — it is stewardship under God. 🔥 Full Devotional Summary God’s first words to humanity were not suggestions. They were identity statements. Produce. Grow. Fill. Conquer. Rule. Every battle you face is the enemy trying to disconnect you from this identity. But God is restoring you back to the Genesis mandate — the reason you exist.

Verse of the day
💭 Verse of the Day: Micah 7:6–7 (NLT) “For the son despises his father. The daughter defies her mother. The daughter-in-law defies her mother-in-law. Your enemies are right in your own household! As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.” 🕊 Reflection: This verse reminds us that sometimes the greatest challenges and opposition don’t come from the outside world—but from those closest to us. Even in seasons of conflict, betrayal, or misunderstanding within your own home or circle, God calls you to look to Him. When everything feels divided and confusing, He is your peace. When voices rise against you, He is your defender. When love seems hard to find, His love remains unshaken. Like Micah, choose to lift your eyes above the chaos and say, “As for me, I look to the Lord for help.” He hears you. He sees you. And He will move in His perfect time. 🙏 Prayer: Lord, when trouble rises even in my own home, remind me to look to You. Help me to wait confidently for Your salvation and trust that You hear my every cry. Be my peace when relationships feel broken and my strength when I feel alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
