Day 1 of 31 of Creating for Joy: Buckwheat Crepes & Honey Syrup
In honor of the theme this month (Creativity, Flow, Pleasure), I’ll be posting one new creative project each day! Some will be small, some will be big. All of them will be messy and imperfect and human 😊 Please feel free to join me and share your creations in the comments! Today, I made some buckwheat crepes with chamomile and orange peel-infused honey syrup! It didn’t come out the prettiest, but it was very tasty 😋 I was having a mild allergic reaction, so I decided to whip up something that would naturally support my immune system. Buckwheat is rich in quercetin, a powerful antioxidant known for its antihistamine properties. Chamomile contains apigenin, which helps calm the nervous system, reduce inflammation, and support the body’s response to allergens. Orange peel provides a boost of vitamin C and beneficial flavonoids, helping to strengthen the immune system and support healthy histamine levels. Together with honey, this blend offers gentle, holistic support for overall wellness. 💫 If anyone wants the recipe, I'd be happy to share!
