Introduction - Khaled Abu Amarah | Chemical Engineering Student
Hi everyone, I’m Khaled Abu Amarah, a junior Chemical Engineering student at the American University of Sharjah. I’m strongly interested in the energy sector, especially the operational side of the industry where technical decisions are applied in real field environments. What draws me most to this industry is that it places engineering in real operating environments, where the work is challenging, the decisions matter, and the impact is tangible. That is the kind of environment I see myself building a career in. Through my studies and my internship exposure in HSE and operations, I’ve become even more interested in how energy companies manage risk, improve performance, and make important decisions in complex operating environments. Long term, I hope to build a career that starts with strong technical foundations and grows into larger operational and strategic responsibility. I joined this network to learn from people already in the industry, gain a broader perspective on where the sector is heading, and connect with others who are serious about building a future in energy. Looking forward to learning from everyone here.
