Another week of feeling like I am still getting everything together. Djangify is complete. YouTube is up. Inspirational Guidance (still editing blog posts and getting it into Google's good graces!). There has been so much interest in Djangify that I am now including it in the experiment so I have to be very clear about which business I am working on each day. To do that I updated my Project Tracker (I built my own) which now has a CRM and notes section attached. YOUTUBE VS SUBSTACK YouTube plans are going well and the first couple of videos are up. The advice is not to send random people (friends, family, Skool group members asking them for a like and a view) because YouTube gets confused about who you are for if you have different people viewing your video in its first 24-48 hours. So I am not sharing my channel. I am leaving the YT algorithms to do its match making. That is also the reason I stopped sharing Substack and Pinterest. I don't want vanity metrics I want REAL people and I am happy to wait for them to find me. I have also been told not to try to focus on Substack and YouTube - that it is better to choose one or the other. I will see how I feel about that and see which one ends up becoming more active. Another 8 people joined my mailing list (new Djangify) since putting up the form but I haven't sent anything out yet so I should send something soon! Another 3 people joined Inspirational Guidance mailing list. Substack has moved from 9 to 17 and I love being on there - I am finding it the easiest thing to do. Far easier than having to get myself "ready" to be on camera. Even though getting ready for me is the bare minimum - head wrap, no makeup, wear clothes! While I wait for YouTube to warm up and have people find me I will continue with Substack. YOUTUBE FOCUS My YouTube channel is not an educational channel. It focuses on the experiment and is more a documentary style, so I rely on Claude to keep me on track because I go straight into helping.

The Djangify AI Assistant is working
I have added an AI Assistant inside Djangify so that I can ask questions directly on the site. The AI Assistant will use any data available on my site if I use the words "my..." so if I say "How many of my blog posts need an SEO Meta Title added" it will be able to search through my site and tell me. That uses API tokens which costs extra but I have asked loads of questions while testing and only spent $1.50 so far. Eventually I will add all the Djangify documentation inside the site so if someone needs onboarding documentation it will be there. But as there are only a few of us right now it isn't necessary. I have already added the MCP Connector and improved on that. This one doesn't require any extra API tokens. You are using your existing Claude account and it can do work for you - fill things in, create potential blog content etc. All in draft mode so you can read and add your own voice to it of course https://www.skool.com/sell-digital-products-7402/connecting-claude-connector-to-djangify

@Diane Corriette i see .. glad to be a part of the journey
How to start YouTube automation in 2026
I am getting ready to make my first video. I did research on what people are looking for and asking for I have created my YouTube channel I moved my desk to get the best possible natural light during the day I have a list of topics I downloaded OBS for making videos and DaVinci Resolve for editing. ChatGPT help me set it all up and go over the right settings. Chat also helped me set up my Yeti microphone The only thing left is to make an actual video!! This one focuses on setting up faceless channels but is also good for personal brands. I will be watching this today https://youtu.be/J-suhuECjBw?is=Ta198yVYukjztsY5 He also has a video on the biggest mistake to make with a new channel which is asking random family and friends to watch if they're not your target market. It confuses the Google algorithm and it ends up not liking your videos as much. He recommends letting it happen organically.

Free Claude Artifact Tools I Built
Now that I have included the ability to add artifact html files to Djangify I have added a few up there and welcome feedback - especially around the Storyteller Content Builder - I have been using it to help me create posts and ideas. Does it help you? It might turn into a paid tool - will see. https://www.djangify.com/tools - AI Storytelling Content Builder - Create content for your site (this should be premium) - Discover Your Communication Style - Let AI know your preferred style (always free - links to premium) - Platform Fees Estimator - how much are your platforms costing you - Free Core Values Compass - find your Core Values by answering questions. - An ALIVE List Prompts - prompts to use with AI (there will be a premium version) - An ALIVE List Direction Finder - figure out where you are now They are all available for me to share on Pinterest and social media.

Nice Nice
I am an underrepresented underestimated 100% bootstrapped Life Coach Who Codes how do I get noticed?
Despite not being ready to openly sell Djangify I am still getting it ready for when that moment comes so I decided to ask AI what it would take to get noticed. I feel like Google favors larger corporations so indie developers are buried and so I need to rely on GEO used by AI. This is just my FYI for me ☺️ AND the search engines ! Now I know " you have a solid 3 to 6 months of focused foundational work ahead of you" Your Case Study Blueprint Your immediate goal is to prove that independent shops running on single-file databases can pull consistent organic traffic. Use your current live case study pages to explicitly document this setup: [ Case Study Page Overview ] ┌───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐ │ H1: How We Scaled Organic Traffic on an Isolated DB │ ├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ AI Summary Block: Direct, two-sentence performance data │ ├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ Code Snapshot: The actual Docker setup / compose lines │ ├───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤ │ Raw Data Table: Clean, filterable text traffic stats │ └───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘ ------ What It Takes for AI to Recommend Djangify AI tools do not independently decide a product is "the best." They aggregate consensus and consistency from across the web. If an LLM scans the internet for "best self-hosted alternative to Gumroad" and finds your brand name mentioned frequently in specific, trusted context clusters, it will recommend you. [1, 2, 3] To achieve this, you have a solid 3 to 6 months of focused foundational work ahead of you, targeting three main pillars: ┌──────────────────────────────┐ │ AI RECOMMENDATION │ └──────────────┬───────────────┘
