MOTION BEATS PERFECTION
I learned this lesson the hard way over the last two weeks. I was obsessing over my content strategy, trying to make sure my page, messaging, and systems were perfect before I started posting. I have been rewatching the videos like clockwork every day in preparation for my launch, and then I heard Gurpreet say something in the training that finally clicked: “Motion beats perfection.” So this past weekend, I stopped overthinking and started posting. Within one day, I got my first warm outreach from a Facebook friend, scheduled a carrier call for later this week, and gained 5 new followers on my business page. Two weeks of trying to make everything perfect = 0 opportunities. One day of taking action = my first lead. That was the reminder I needed. We don't have to know everything before we start. We can learn, execute, adjust, and improve along the way. MOTION BEATS PERFECTION. What have you been overthinking instead of just starting?
When Should You Post Content on Social Media
When should I post my content on social media? I am completing the free course now and will soon be going into the paid course. But I still need more knowledge to really move forward in the business process CONFIDENTLY. Please help with my poll so I can get a better idea of what the community thinks. My fear is posting before I am able to adequately and confidently handle the carrier, which I believe will jeopardize my carrier relationship. What are your thoughts?

I was in a similar boat to you until this past weekend. I have been rewatching the video religiously, like clockwork. Especially parts 4 and 5. Gurpreet says something in his video: "Motion beats perfection". I was obsessing over perfecting my content strategy and making sure that I have everything just right before posting. I wasted the last two weeks stressing over it. This past weekend I heard that phrase and decided enough was enough. I started posting, and within one day I got my first warm outreach contact from a Facebook friend and 5 new followers for my business. MOTION BEATS PERFECTION. You got this!
New to the community
Hi my name is Kevin I live in Denver, CO and I plan on making $5000 per month dispatching trucks. I want to get these 3 things from this course/community: I want to learn how to manage relationships with carriers and brokers so that I can be the preferred dispatcher. Knowing when and how to scale your business. How to create effective systems that are repeatable For fun I like to do these 3 things: Spending time with my wife and kids. Volunteer coaching and church take up my free time when I'm not at work. Cooking and eating. Mostly Italian and Japanese cuisine. Working on cars. I like buying and flipping used cars. Extra money on the side and it helps me improve my mechanical acumen.

@Carla Mitchell I have been enjoying it so far! It's intimidating but I know it'll be worth it! Best of luck!
New here, you can call me Ms. Jo.
Hey everyone I am Johna but I go by Ms. Jo, I am 35 years old and I have two children under 18. I am not going to lie I am not a very social person, so I hope I can keep up with the social aspects of this whole course. But just in case I cannot, can anyone tell me if I will be able to complete the course? Is it really REQUIRED for me to socialize in order to become a successful dispatcher/broker?

@Manny Sarah I don't think your level is high enough either? Maybe that's why it didn't go through. Either way. I plan on doing the full course and paying for the 90 days. I really want to grow this business and if you can help I'd love to connect!

@Johna Berry I feel you and this is one of those things that takes practice to get good at. I've been learning that putting yourself out there and being social is like half the battle. Those who put themselves out there are the ones who win. You've got this! Let's continue to motivate one another and keep each other accountable. I'm currently reading "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. This book is slowly helping me get out of my shell and learning how to work with people. It may be worth checking out. The audiobook is on YouTube. Stay engaged in the community and don't let the idea of needing to socialize deter you from the greatness that you're destined for! We're here to change our lives. Don't forget. Let's make sure to stay connected!
Owner operator
Hello Everyone. I’m an owner operator and started a dispatch company. Is there anyone that in Virginia that wants to link up and work together. Or anyone that’s interested and ambitious enough to go to the top with this.

Hello @Tysun Moore ! Let me know if you'd like to connect. I'm new to the industry but am in the process of getting my MC authority and am going to be an owner operator. Looking to start a dispatching biz on the side to keep overhead low and have control over my business. Iron sharpens iron. Would love to connect and help each other build.
