Advice for beginners?
Imagine someone is starting learning mixing or mastering today. What's the one piece of advice you'd give them to help them succeed faster?

With all the amazing flashy cool GUIs and programs, don’t forget to just close your eyes and listen. Mix with your ears and look away from time to time.

Hey Kids, just scooped up a membership for a year because I've been missing the community. I did Sync 101 awhile back and made a ton of friends as well as absorbing all the Rob wisdom I could. Then took the mastering intensive. Same thing......great experience. Just recently I took a fix the mix class with Kevin and while I can't swing TRE at the moment, I realized I just missed being a part of this wondrous community and hanging out with you like minded knuckle heads. So I figured this membership could keep me connected and improving on my sonic journey. So looking forward to new connections and rekindling some old ones. Cheers !

I’ve been building something new.
A solo project called DOSIMO. It doesn’t sound like anything I’ve released before. It’s slower. Heavier. Feels like it’s coming from a different place entirely. The first release lands at the end of April, but I’ve started sharing fragments of it. This is one piece of it. The rest is unfolding here: instagram.com/dosimo.music/ Open to any thoughts. Especially on the visuals and how it’s coming across so far.
