I was exactly like this at a small skatepark on the Isle of wight 2 weeks ago, I felt so self conscious that because I'm a beginner I would get in the way so I stood there with my board and didn't move from that spot 😞 Finally just decided to put my board back in the car and let my other half skate with everyone whilst I sat and watched! Wish I could feel more confident 😭

@David Young Thanks! I do need to practice more indoors actually 😊 I think it's just the fear of looking stupid in front of others that holds me back 😭

I used the skatepark projects, skatepark finder gives you a map of the skateparks in the UK 😊 Doesn't always give you photos though but helps you find them! Just in case people don't know 🤗

@Ian Harvey I always say for Roller skating or skateboarding... If you ain't falling you ain't trying 🤣😅 I've eaten shit plenty of times to get to the ability I'm at with my roller skating hahaha all part of the fun I suppose!

My first skateboard so had to cover it in stickers I love 🤣 Made it as colourful as I could!

@Ian Harvey I believe if I remember it was acrylic paint pens I used 🤗 I'm terrible at drawing and art always have been but would be a banging idea if it was decent 🤣 Plus it literally hasn't rubbed off yet which is good!
