@Megan Casey @Jeffrey Saathoff I thought we're supposed to eat the grams of protein for the weight you want to be, not the weight you are. And protein shakes are good but definitely check those ingredients. 🙂 Good for her if she wants to get healthy! Walking is a great first step. (pun intended)
Berberine
So after taking this 1200mg of berberine I decided yesterday not to take it It’s supposed to help you lower A1C but having to run to the bathroom 💥🧨🌋Just not able to be doing that as I’m a school bus driver!! Just got to the place where I was over the upset stomach and I put myself back into an uncomfortable place I’m afraid to eat 😩😩😩😩😩😩😩

@Lorraine Jaramillo I believe I saw a video of Dr Berry saying to donate blood a day or 2 before you go do bloodwork, and that would lower it. It was his "quick hack" if you're feeling the pressure to get it down. I donated blood and they sent me a letter about my high cholesterol. 😂 I will continue to donate, and I will continue to eat carnivore. 🙂

Starch replacement
Is there a type of starch replacement we can use for making “bread”?

I've used egg white powder, eggs, pork panko. I prefer doing small "buns" or tortillas instead of a full loaf. A bun is 1/4 c pork panko, 1 egg, 1 T butter, baked for 10 mins @ 400F. My pork panko is pork rinds in the food processor. If you need a different type of recipe find Courtney Luna. She has lots of ideas/recipes. 🙂
Challenges during Carnivore
Hello Carnivores, As we all know the lifestyle of a carnivore comes with a lot of profitable benefits. I got stronger I got a more stable blood sugar level I don’t have any ptsd , depression and anxiety problems anymore I have energy shooting through the roof. I look fitter. I no longer have sugar cravings. But even with this lifestyle there will be challenges, But for all challenges there will be solutions. My challenge is i am having a very active lifestyle and get dehydrated quickly. My solution is using some good quality salt and electrolytes. Right now i finally got my LMNT delivered and am very curious about it. What are your challenges and solutions on the carnivore lifestyle on a day to day basis ?

I dread my "friends" that don't want to support this lifestyle. As the (US) holidays approach there will be added pressure. They are overweight and sick, but I'm expected to "respect their feelings"? ugh.... but I'll do as best as I can and not beat myself up. It's easier to put a little on my plate and not eat it, than it is to create animosity. Good luck out there!
