AI Governance Career Paths
There are 5 career paths in AI governance right now. Here’s a breakdown of each one, what qualifications they typically require, and what salary ranges look like: (1) AI Risk Analyst — $95K–$140K, focuses on identifying and assessing AI-specific risks. (2) AI Compliance Officer — $110K–$170K, ensures AI systems meet regulatory requirements. (3) AI Governance Lead — $130K–$200K, designs and implements governance frameworks. (4) AI Audit Specialist — $105K–$160K, evaluates AI systems for compliance and effectiveness. (5) AI Ethics & Policy Advisor — $120K–$180K, shapes organizational AI ethics policies. Which path interests you most? Let’s discuss in the chat or private message me on this platform.

@François B. Arthanas ok I did
If I were starting over in Tech, Cyber, GRC, today, here’s exactly where I’d focus:
AI Governance. Not because it’s trendy. Because the math is impossible to ignore: → Every Fortune 500 company deploying AI needs governance professionals → EU AI Act compliance deadlines are creating urgent, unfilled demand → The talent pool is tiny — most organizations can’t find qualified people → Salaries for AI governance roles are 20-40% higher than traditional GRC Here’s what most people don’t realize: If you already have a Sec+, CISSP, CISA, or GRC background, you’re not starting from zero. You’re starting from 60%. You already understand risk frameworks. You already speak the language of controls and compliance. You already know how to work with stakeholders. The gap isn’t your experience. It’s the AI-specific knowledge layer on top of it. That gap? It’s closeable in weeks, not years. The professionals who close it first will own this space. Agree or disagree? I’d love to hear your take in the comment section. ⬇️ #CareerAdvice #AIGovernance #CISSP #CISA #GRC #Cybersecurity
