Hi everyone, I wanted to share some good news…I recently passed my Massachusetts Real Estate Salesperson 🥳. I am still very new in this space, eager to learn, and excited to keep growing. I would love to connect with a mentor and start building relationships with people in and around the industry, including lenders, developers, and attorneys. For those already in real estate, I would love to hear from you — what is something you wish you had known when you first started, or what helped you close your very first deal? Here’s to learning, growing, and building toward financial freedom 🙌🏾

No Self-Promotion - This is not the place to pitch your services, programs, or products. - Do not post links to your business, funnels, or social profiles to generate leads. - Let your value speak louder than your pitch. 3. No Spamming - Do not message members unsolicited with offers, services, or promotions. - Violators will be removed immediately. 4. No Service Offers or Client Poaching - This is a learning and networking space, not a place to sell your consulting, funding, or design services. - If you’re here to “find clients,” you’re in the wrong room. 5. Add Value First. Always. - Ask thoughtful questions. Share insights. Celebrate wins. - The more value you give, the more you’ll grow. - This group is built on collaboration—not competition. By participating in this group, you agree to uphold these principles. Violations may result in removal without warning.

Hi everyone, I’m Kenya. I’m from Boston, born and raised, and still here building roots while exploring what’s next in this new chapter of life. I’m brand new to real estate, but it’s always been in the background. My dad is a broker who’s flipped homes and owned property, so this world isn’t unfamiliar. I recently completed the MA Real Estate Salesperson course and just scheduled my licensing exam. My background is multi-faceted. I hold a degree in construction management, certificates in interior design and home staging, and I’ve worked in the public sector supporting departments focused on property management and capital construction projects. I’ve been slowly piecing together how all my experiences and these skills can support a long-term vision not just for myself, but for others too. I’m stepping into this space with the intention to learn how to structure deals, recognize opportunities others might overlook, and help make real estate more accessible—especially for folks like me who didn’t grow up with a clear blueprint for building generational wealth. Experience level: Brand spanking new Exit strategy I’m curious about: Still exploring, but I’m drawn to buy and hold, creative deals, and anything that allows for long-term impact. What’s been holding me back: Fear. Fear of failure, of not knowing enough, or of making the wrong move. But I know growth doesn’t come from playing it safe, and I’m choosing to move forward and give it a try now. Grateful to be in this space and looking forward to learning, connecting, and seeing where this journey leads.
