Hi guys! I'll be traveling for work over the next week, so I'll be posting a new assignment every day. I hope you guys will put in the effort to complete each one. Be sure to check in daily so you don't miss any updates! I highly recommend that everyone does the assignments, as I'll be reviewing them and giving each of you individual feedback every couple of days. Most of the assignments will be fairly easy, so let's keep building the habit of practicing Mandarin every day. I also understand that not everyone has time to do every assignment. If you have to skip a day or two, that's completely okay—just try to complete them whenever you can. For those who feel it’s a little too challenging right now, you can choose to complete only the first portion of the assignment. Connecting words might be a bit too difficult for you at this stage. Daily assignments will be published from July 12 onwards. Please make sure to name your audio file using the correct format. For example: bM365 2. Again, make the most of the month of July and take this opportunity to improve your Mandarin. By the way, I’m not going anywhere after July, but there might be fewer free live classes and assignments, as I’ll be focusing on other parts of the course. You can still reach out to me if you need anything or if you’re facing any challenges while learning Mandarin.

I've noticed some of you are having a minor issue with notifications. I'm experiencing this too, but I do two things: First, I check the live stream date on my calendar and find the time Mr. Yuan has set, then I compare it to my location and set an alarm to avoid any mistakes. Note that you don't have to turn on your camera since this isn't a video class. However, be prepared that your audio assignment will be played on speaker for the rest of the members so we can all learn from each other's mistakes. After your assignment is played, I'll give you feedback, suggestions for improvement, and effective techniques and tips. I'll also take any questions at the end of the session. Each assignment will take around 15–25 minutes. Make the most of the month of July, so take full advantage of it!
