My Intro: 1. Name and career Hi everyone, I’m Ken Hyra. I’m a Registered Social Worker in Chatham, Ontario, Canada and I’ve spent my whole working life sitting across from people at the hardest points in their relationships. A few years ago I was let go from a full-time position at 61. Instead of retiring, I took what had been a side practice and built it into the Cothera™ Method, a calm, practical way of helping couples find their way back to each other. 2. Who I help and the result I work mostly with husbands whose careers are going well and whose marriages are quietly drifting. They’re not in crisis. They just come home, sit at the same dinner table, and can’t figure out why it feels so far away. I help them get as good at connection as they already are at leading, so the distance at home starts to close. 3. I’m here to build... A small, steady private coaching practice with a clear six-month offer that the right men can say yes to without a lot of convincing. 4. I’m stuck on this one big thing The selling conversation. Writing and clinical work come easily to me. Sitting with someone who’s interested and asking for the commitment is where things stall. I’d like to get as comfortable in that conversation as I am in the therapy room. Glad to be here, and looking forward to learning from people who’ve put in the long years too.
