Patriotism Requires Privacy
KYC is a honeypot dressed up as compliance. The Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and KYC laws created massive data honeypots full of permanent information on ordinary Americans. If America enters a war with an enemy superpower, that data becomes a weapon pointed at the public. Privacy and patriotism are not opposites. A country that will not protect its citizens’ private lives cannot protect itself.

Privacy and security don't have to be mutually exclusive. Strong protections for personal data, combined with effective safeguards against misuse, are both essential for maintaining public trust and protecting citizens.
