Looks really amazing.
🌿 The Pause Counter
Starting today, let’s build a simple habit together. Every time you intentionally pause during the day, come back here and leave a simple comment to reflect on the Power Of Pause - POP! Let’s see how many pauses The NOW Mode community can create together 🌿 Number of comments = number of Pauses Until we have our own APP! :)

A little pause is better than no pause ☺️ ..meanwhile, I was wondering, how's the app going? Does it work also with Android?

🌿 The Background Apps of the Mind
We explored what happens when we don’t return to NOW. Not for a moment. Not for a day. Not for a week. The mind stays busy. The thoughts keep moving. And the feeling of rushing slowly becomes normal. Not because life suddenly became more complicated. But because we keep adding open loops to an already crowded mind. Then I came across this: “You do not need more time, you need fewer open loops in your life.” That really stood out. Because an open loop is anything unfinished. A decision you haven’t made. An email you need to send. A conversation you’re avoiding. A task you keep postponing. A commitment you haven’t acted on. The interesting thing is that the mind doesn’t forget these things. It keeps them active. Quietly sitting in the background. Pulling on your attention. Consuming mental energy. Creating that subtle feeling that there’s always something else you should be thinking about. A bit like having too many apps open on your phone. Each app uses a little battery. A little memory. A little processing power. The same thing happens in the mind. Every open loop uses a little attention. A little mental energy. A little capacity. Individually, it’s hardly noticeable. But together… they create a mental load. The feeling of having too much running at once. And that’s why presence can sometimes feel difficult. Not because NOW is difficult. But because part of our attention is constantly being pulled somewhere else. 🎯 Today: Notice one open loop that has been quietly running in the background. Then use the 3D Method: ✅ Do it — if it only takes a few minutes. 🗑️ Drop it — if it no longer matters. 🗓️ Defer it — decide exactly when you’ll deal with it. The goal isn’t to solve your entire life today. It’s simply to stop carrying one unnecessary open loop in your mind. Sometimes presence isn’t about adding another practice. It’s about reducing the load on the mind.

Exactly 😀 : Actually, for a month now, I've been learning to practise it like this : - I want to think of some actions - Or I can't change anything. - Or I don't worry about it anymore. When there's a worrying thought I choose one of these three choices. Then I leave it for a while,if it's the first one,and I revisit to think of more actions or choose one of the other options.
🌿 The Open Loops We Carry
We explored what happens when we don’t return to NOW. Not for a moment Not for a day Not for a week The mind stays busy The thoughts keep moving And the feeling of rushing slowly becomes normal… Not because life suddenly became more complicated. But because we keep adding open loops to an already crowded mind. There is a beautiful quote that really stands out: “You do not need more time, you need fewer open loops in your life.” Because an open loop is anything unfinished: A decision you haven’t made An email you need to send A conversation you’re avoiding A task you keep postponing A commitment you haven’t acted on The interesting thing is that the mind doesn’t forget these things. It keeps them active. Quietly sitting in the background. Pulling on your attention. Consuming mental energy. Creating that subtle feeling that there’s always something else you should be thinking about. And the more open loops we carry… the harder it becomes to settle into the present moment. Not because NOW is difficult. But because part of our attention is constantly being pulled somewhere else. 🎯 Today: Notice one thought that keeps returning throughout the day. Ask yourself: Is this asking for more thinking? Or is it asking for action? Sometimes the fastest way back to NOW is not another thought. It’s closing an open loop...

Very accurate post for me right now.👌 "Is this asking for more thinking or is it asking for action " This is great 👍. 🗨️App suggestion !💡: These days I'm seeking for one that can help with "the brain dump" : A tool where you can jott down everything that's on the mind -no filtering/organising- dump all the 💭 thought bubbles out ,so the mind settles and you can pick up one to work on,or declutter in general.
🌿 The NOW Mode App Is Here ⚡
Over the past few months, we’ve been exploring a simple idea together: Pause Notice Return to NOW Today, I’m excited to share that The NOW Mode app is ready for early testing. The app was built to help you create small moments of presence throughout the day with reminders, pause tracking, and simple tools to return your attention to the present moment. 📱 If you have an iPhone and would like early access, join the TestFlight group by using this link - https://testflight.apple.com/join/DU9jsAeB and be among the first to try it. As always, your feedback, ideas, and observations will help shape what this becomes. Thank you for being part of The NOW Mode journey. 🌿⚡
