Hi everyone! I’m Kellie, and I live in SE Minnesota with my husband, our daughter (5), son (19 months), and our rescue pup, Karl. I work in business credit at a local community bank, but natural health has become a huge passion of mine over the past few years. I recently joined AONH and am working toward becoming an EDS Technician. I’m excited to learn as much as I can so I can support both my kids and others in my community. I originally started exploring holistic approaches when both of my kids were diagnosed with asthma and eczema at a young age. Their skin has especially struggled this fall, and it pushed me deeper into understanding root causes and looking beyond conventional options. We’ve swapped our home to cleaner, fragrance-free products and made several diet changes like removing dairy, wheat/grains, and most processed foods. My daughter has improved significantly with these changes, which has been amazing to see. My toddler’s journey has been more complex. Testing with our naturopath showed several food sensitivities with many falling into patterns like dairy, wheat, histamine-related triggers, malvin-containing foods, and yeast, as well as some concerns with digestion and detox pathways. He also showed elevated markers for metals, candida overgrowth, and glyphosate. Right now under our practitioner’s guidance, we’re gently supporting his gut, digestion, and detox with targeted supplements, and the pure body zeolite spray. It’s definitely a journey, and I’m here to learn, share, and connect with others walking a similar path. I’m grateful to be here and open to insight, experiences, and advice from this community. ❤️
