Are you really tired… or is your body stuck in survival mode?
Do you ever feel like: Your mind is always racing, but your body feels exhausted? You wake up tired even after sleeping? You walk into a room and forget why you’re there? You feel anxious for “no reason”? You struggle with brain fog, mood changes, inflammation, cravings, or low motivation? Most people think anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, and overwhelm are just “normal life.” But what if they are not random at all? What if they are signals? Survival mode is when your body is constantly trying to protect you. Your nervous system stays on high alert. Your energy goes toward stress response instead of healing, clarity, digestion, hormone balance, repair, and peace. Thriving feels different. Thriving is when your body has enough safety, support, oxygen, circulation, rest, and energetic communication to begin restoring order again. This is where True Medicine begins. At LIFT Center, we do not just ask, “What symptom do you have?” We ask deeper questions: Why is your body responding this way? What systems are disconnected? Where is stress being stored? What support does your body need to shift from survival to restoration? Through restorative wellness services, energetic medicine, and a whole-body approach, LIFT Center helps you reconnect with the body’s natural design for healing, clarity, and transformation. So here is the question: Are you living in survival mode… or are you ready to start thriving? Comment “THRIVE” if your body has been asking for a reset. Survival. It's getting better though. Lots of work in order to reverse this. Neurocode has helped me a lot.
Birth Control Pill: The Long - Term Health Question
Have you ever wondered what the birth control pill is really doing in your body? Were you given it for painful periods, acne, PCOS symptoms, heavy bleeding, irregular cycles, or hormone concerns? Were you ever taught how it may affect your mood, energy, libido, liver, nutrient needs, stress response, or long-term wellness? Birth control can be a helpful tool for many women. It may support cycle control, reduce painful bleeding, help with acne, and prevent pregnancy when used correctly. But informed choice matters. The question is not simply, “Is birth control good or bad?” The better question is: Is this the right tool for my body, my symptoms, my risk factors, and my long-term health? At True Medicine and LIFT CENTER, we believe women deserve more than a quick prescription and a rushed explanation. You deserve to understand what your symptoms may be communicating. Hormonal symptoms may be connected to deeper patterns such as: • Blood sugar imbalance• Liver hormone clearance• Adrenal stress and cortisol changes• Thyroid slowdown• Inflammation• Gut health changes• Nutrient depletion• Stress and nervous system overload Before starting, stopping, or changing birth control, ask your provider: • Why am I being prescribed this?• What are the benefits for my situation?• What are my personal risks?• Are there non-hormonal options?• Could my symptoms have a root-cause pattern?• How can I support my body while using it? This is not about fear. This is about education, awareness, and choosing from a place of understanding. Your body is not broken.Your symptoms are messages. And you deserve support that looks at the whole picture. I remember using this in my early 20’s. I ended up so sick. I had symptoms of being pregnant without the pregnancy. I was nauseous all the time and low energy. As soon as I stopped my symptoms went away. Never again!
The Hidden Cost of Breathing Easier: The Truth About Overprescribed Respiratory Medications
Respiratory medications are among the most commonly prescribed drugs in America today. Millions of people rely on inhalers and breathing treatments every single day for asthma, COPD, allergies, chronic bronchitis, and other inflammatory lung conditions. The most common categories include: - Inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) - Albuterol rescue inhalers - Combination inhalers containing steroids plus long-acting bronchodilators These medications can absolutely be lifesaving during acute respiratory distress. In emergency medicine, they have a valuable role. But the growing concern among researchers and healthcare professionals is this: Many patients are being placed on these medications long term without ever addressing the root cause of why the lungs became inflamed in the first place. America has not become healthier despite decades of increasing respiratory drug use. Asthma rates continue to climb, childhood respiratory disorders are increasing, and chronic inflammatory lung disease remains one of the leading causes of disability worldwide. Why Respiratory Drugs Became So Common Respiratory medications are now routinely prescribed because of: - Rising asthma diagnoses - Chronic environmental inflammation - Air pollution exposure - Smoking and vaping damage - Mold and chemical exposure - Allergic immune dysregulation - Chronic sinus inflammation - Recurrent childhood infections - Sedentary lifestyles and obesity Many patients begin with a temporary inhaler… and remain on it for years or even decades. The problem is that symptom suppression is not the same as healing. 1. Inhaled Corticosteroids: Reducing Inflammation at a Cost Common examples include: - Fluticasone - Budesonide - Beclomethasone - Mometasone These drugs suppress inflammation inside the airways to reduce wheezing and breathing difficulty. While they can reduce asthma attacks, long-term steroid exposure carries significant consequences. Common Side Effects - Oral thrush (fungal overgrowth) - Hoarseness - Chronic sore throat - Dry mouth - Increased respiratory infections - Cough irritation

My mom was a smoker for over 46 years of her 78 years of life thus far. She struggles bad with COPD. I tried to get her on Halo therapy, but she is not buying into it. It costs very little to try. Many are so deceived by allopathic medical interventions that they will not even hear reason.

This is such a true problem. I grew up on antibiotics too and the full impact of the gut microbiome disruption did not hit me until I was 25. Then it was like an avalanche of issues all at once. I am so glad you are educating us about this!
Antibiotics: The Double-Edged Sword of Modern Medicine
Antibiotics are among the most commonly prescribed medications in the United States—and for good reason. They have saved countless lives by effectively treating bacterial infections that were once fatal. But beneath their life-saving reputation lies a deeper story—one that is often overlooked in conventional care. What Are Antibiotics? Antibiotics are medications designed to kill or inhibit the growth of bacteria. Some of the most commonly prescribed include: - Amoxicillin – Often used for ear infections, sinus infections, and respiratory conditions - Azithromycin – Commonly prescribed for respiratory infections and sometimes as a “Z-pack” - Doxycycline – Used for acne, Lyme disease, and various infections Why Are Antibiotics So Common? Antibiotics are frequently prescribed in outpatient settings for: - Upper respiratory infections - Ear infections - Skin conditions - Urinary tract infections However, many of these conditions are viral, not bacterial—meaning antibiotics offer no real benefit. Despite this, they are often prescribed “just in case,” contributing to widespread overuse. The Hidden Cost of Antibiotic Use 1. Destruction of the Microbiome Antibiotics do not discriminate. While they kill harmful bacteria, they also destroy beneficial bacteria in the gut. This disruption can lead to: - Digestive issues (bloating, diarrhea, constipation) - Weakened immune function - Overgrowth of harmful organisms like Candida - Long-term imbalance in gut flora Your gut microbiome is not just about digestion—it is deeply tied to your immune system, brain health, and even mood regulation. 2. Increased Risk of Chronic Disease Repeated antibiotic use has been associated with: - Autoimmune conditions - Allergies and asthma - Obesity and metabolic dysfunction - Mental health disorders (via the gut-brain axis) When the terrain of the body is disrupted, the foundation for health becomes unstable. 3. Antibiotic Resistance One of the most serious global concerns is antibiotic resistance.
