Teaching how to feel
I realize when people have autism / neuro divergent They don't know how to manage their emotions. Some of them don't know the different emotions and how to exhibit them. Teaching how to exhibit and manage emotion is very hard.

Yes it was very difficult. Im the youngest of Gen X (1980) and back then it was children should be seen not heard. So I was never taught to express emotions just suppress. It is difficult now to teach emotions to my level 3 nonverbal daughter. I still have a lot of trouble expressing myself in relationships.....

Advocacy
What was the hardest thing you had to do to advocate for your child?

@Dr. Kristin Beasley Lead Poisoning....by far! She has been suffering for 4 years now. All they want to do is keep poking her and being really strict about it. Yet, they were not doing anything to help the situation just finger pointing. By far the HARDEST thing I've been through with my daughter and advocating for her.
