Last 48 hours - Founding Price Closes Monday
Hi Artists Just a quick heads-up that the founding price for the Landscape Painting Mastery Course closes this Monday, May 4th. After that, it goes back to $397 USD. If you've been sitting on the fence, now is the time. And here's a good reason to join the annual membership right now: we're kicking off a brand-new tree painting class at Sam's Landscape Painting School tomorrow. You'd be jumping in right as something new starts, which is a great way to hit the ground running. Two ways to get access before Monday: Option 1: Get the Landscape Painting Mastery Course on its own for $197 USD, 50% off the regular price of $397. https://www.skool.com/painters-mastermind-5223/about Option 2: Join Sam's Landscape Painting School on an annual membership for $299 USD and get lifetime access to the Landscape Painting Mastery Course completely free as a launch bonus. I'll personally send you your course access link within 24 hours. https://www.skool.com/samuel-earp-online-art-school/about Any questions, drop them in the comments below. Happy painting, Sam

I forgot to ask. Do you plan to add more content to the course over time, or is it pretty much going to remain as it is now? I'm fine either way, there is plenty of solid content as it stands, but of course any extra is always nice.

The Landscape Painting Mastery Course is Now Open
Hey Artists I've just opened the doors to something I've been working on for a while, and I wanted to share it here first. The Landscape Painting Mastery Course is now live. It's 17 complete landscape painting projects and over 170 videos, walking you through everything from mountains and dramatic skies to trees, water, and seascapes. Every project covers the full process, from thumbnail sketch right through to finished painting. (Swipe through the photos above to see some of the paintings you'll learn to create inside the course.) The content originally came from my Painters Mastermind program, which was a $5,000 a year private group. People paid to watch me paint and think out loud across hundreds of hours of real demonstrations, as well as help them personally with their painting. That's what's inside this course. There are two ways to get access: OPTION 1: Get the Landscape Painting Mastery Course on its own for $197 USD. That's the founding member price, 50% off the regular price of $397 USD. The founding price closes Monday, May 4th. 👉 https://www.skool.com/painters-mastermind-5223/about OPTION 2: Join Sam's Landscape Painting School on an annual membership for $299 USD and get the Landscape Painting Mastery Course completely FREE as a launch bonus. That includes lifetime access to the course plus weekly live classes, the full tutorial library, and the community. 👉 https://www.skool.com/samuel-earp-online-art-school/about Note: This offer is available to new annual members joining at the current $299 rate. If you're on a legacy pricing plan and have questions, just send me a DM and I'll sort you out personally. Any questions, just drop them in the comments below, and I'll answer them personally. Happy painting, Sam P.S. I show you in real time how to paint all of these paintings and more when you join the Landscape Painting Mastery course.

Hi Sam, This seems like a good idea and a bargain at the founder member price, but can you clarify a little some questions that I have. As a current annual member of your Landscape Painting School I assume that I get access to Landscape Painting Mastery Course is this correct? Or is it just open as an offer to new members joining now? If I do get access as a current member how do I get access to the course on this basis? Do I access the course as a separate entity to the other individual courses in your Skool Classroom, as it seems to be a curated set of some of the current courses within the classroom with a structured pathway through the courses? You also say that members of the School get lifetime access to the course, so what happens if I leave the School annual membership? Not that I am planning to do so, but who knows what my circumstances will be in future? Would I lose access to the course, I assume not as you say that it is lifetime access? However, it is possible that I have misunderstood your meaning, and if so I would prefer to pay for the course up front at the founder member price that risk losing access in future. Thanks, Keith

My Clouds Painting Course Starts This Monday (25th August, NZ time)
Hey everyone 😊 My Clouds Painting Course starts this Monday (25th August, NZ time) and I'm genuinely excited about this one. I know so many of you have told me that skies are what trip you up most in your landscapes. You get the foreground looking decent, then the clouds just... don't work. They end up flat, lifeless, or looking like cotton balls stuck to the canvas. I get it. I used to abandon paintings for the exact same reason. This 8-week course breaks down everything I've learned about painting realistic clouds: the colour mixing, how light actually works in skies, achieving soft edges, and creating depth and atmosphere. All the stuff that makes clouds look like they're actually floating in space rather than painted on. We'll cover different cloud types, time-of-day effects, and how to make your skies support the whole painting instead of fighting against it. QUICK HEADS UP: I'm running a special on annual memberships right now - $199 USD instead of the usual $279 USD. That gets you this course plus everything else in the Art School. The special pricing ends in one week. If you've been on the fence about joining, this might be a good time. The course recordings will be there forever, but we always have more fun doing them live together. Join here if you're interested: https://www.skool.com/samuel-earp-online-art-school/about Let me know if you have any questions! Sam 😊

Will you also be incorporating the individual lessons into a larger overall painting featuring a larger cloudscape? No problems however you do it, both ways work for me. Looking forward to the sessions.

There are SO many ways to build a thriving art career in 2025, and honestly, most of them are more reliable than hoping galleries will pick up your work. I am definitely in the creating art camp, as to whether it is beautiful, well beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I think that I am still in the learner phase, I know that it can be said that we are all learning no matter how advanced we are, but I mean something different. I see myself learner in the more in the renaissance sense if that doesn't sound too pretentious, perhaps apprentice might be a more appropriate term. I am developing as an artist and sometimes am happy with what I produce, although even with my best work I still see flaws. I am also still trying to get a feeling as to my style, at times I am very attracted to a realistic style at other times a more loose or impressionistic one. As to my ultimate goal well to perhaps reach the level of a journeyman artist or even (again in the renaissance sense) produce a masterpiece. However as I am in my seventies that may be something of a pipe dream, had I started the journey at a much younger age perhaps that goal might be more realistic. In the meantime I will keep taking steps along the road and enjoy the process.
