I believe there are many misunderstandings concerning what Catholics truly believe and where our beliefs come from. We are sometimes accused of inventig some of our practices and beliefs. A simple, condensed chronological history of the succession of the popes and the church doctrinrine beginning with the apostles and through to Pope Francis should be taught in the schools, churches, CCD and RCIA. This would would go a long way to teaching the faith. It would also help us defend our faith.
