Most people don’t quit because martial arts is too hard. They quit because they: Start too aggressively. Expect too much too soon. Don’t have a clear plan. The key isn’t intensity. It’s starting at the right level and building consistency from there.
@Brian Barlow I've found having a beginners course and a fundamentals class has helped with retention. But yep it still ain't easy and unfortunately a lot of people quit before giving it a chance.

The biggest mistake I see adults make when starting training again: Doing too much, too soon. Trying to: Keep up with everyone. Train like they did years ago. Push through everything. That’s what leads to: Burnout. Injury. Quitting. The goal isn’t to go all-in for 2 weeks. It’s to train consistently for months and years.
