It's time to socialize and get to know each other... that's what Saturday detentions are for, right? So what's everyone's plans for Easter weekend? Do you celebrate Easter? Not celebrate Easter? Have plans? Don't have plans? Tell us what's happening in your little corner of the world this weekend!

This move did NOT go the way we expected. This is quite long soooo... The short version? It was a mess. The movers didn’t pack the U-Haul correctly at all. There was a ton of open space (about 8' long) left in the center of the truck. They laid mattresses and tall stuff flat instead of standing them against the side. Which meant they didn't stack things to the ceiling height of the truck. A lot of stuff didn't fit on the truck because of it. And at first we didn’t even realize how much stuff got left. We ended up making multiple trips back to the old house in the car trying to grab everything that didn’t fit, and eventually had to rent a second, smaller U-Haul just to get the rest of it moved. We were still at the old house clearing and cleaning the last of the stuff right up to and even after the buyers did the final walk-through. Then on the unloading side… The guy who originally loaded the truck (and was supposed to be here) didn’t show up. Instead, he sent “his guys.” And that turned into: stuff getting tossed around things being dropped fragile items not being treated like they were fragile and at one point, one of the guys had his 5-year-old kid helping carry breakable items and eventually.... momma bear calling up the guy who was supposed to be here and letting him know he'd better show up... let's just say lots of words were spoken. 🤣 So yeah… there’s definitely some damage we’re dealing with now. It was one of those situations where things just kept stacking — and you’re trying to keep everything moving while also realizing it’s not being handled the way it should be. Not gonna lie… it was frustrating. 3 days of loading, unloading, driving back and forth There's boxes and furniture scattered everywhere Broken things to deal with Oh, and when my son was first setting up the U-Haul rental, something went wrong on their end and they cancelled the first rental. And when they re-added it into their system? They cancelled the safe-move insurance. So there's literally thousands of dollars of damage done by the movers, and at this point we're not sure if anything is covered.

so the move was a whole lot of chaos and I'll be dropping an update for all of you a little later today. Everything is quite a bit of a mess and just got my computer set up about 5 minutes ago (that's about how long it takes to start up and navigate to Skool 🤣) But first... let's talk about onboarding.
