Hi friends I’m SO excited to say that I shared the Day of Learning proposal with my son’s elementary school at the PTA meeting. We will be looking to get it approved and get the day scheduled. We discussed possibly a 2 hour time after school ends. This is a massive dream come true. Fingers crossed we get it approved and scheduled sooner than later!

Hey everyone! I’m so excited I went to the PTA meeting yesterday and shared about the opportunity to do a day of learning for parents and staff to help prevent mental illness in children. Everyone was super receptive. They are very open to ideas and one person even came up to me afterwards and said she is a therapist and very in favor. So next step is we’re developing a survey for everyone to learn about what the biggest concerns are within the community - and then we’ll put together the day of learning!

Hey everyone! I just want to celebrate that I just signed up for the PTA at my son’s school. I told them I am a certified attunement specialist and can help parents and teachers prevent mental illness in children with relational skills. I’m so proud of myself for taking this step to engage with my community. Instead of judging and feeling afraid of the school system I am stepping in to be a contributor.

Grounded 2. Balanced 3.powerful One thing that opened up for me from the videos are 👇 1. I’m really seeing the importance of somatic nervous system balancing work Here’s a question about Dragon Yoga I have for the community: Have you done any other kinds of movement that involves the tongue and face? It’s so unique! Especially the clearing the head movements.

We are bringing legitimacy to something that feels truly natural and intuitive 2. This movement represents the possibility of a well world which is all I want for my child 1. I feel safer in my own body and essence now that I have more attuned community around me Three things I learned from the videos are 👇 1. I learned more about the proposed research study to gather further evidence in the effectiveness of the attunement model which is super exciting 2. I learned more about the way this model can be such a game changer in medical/psychiatric cases and how it opens up pathways for families dealing with CPS cases etc... that are in real distress. It gives them access to real healing. 3. I really loved learning the origin story of attunement and Dr Blickstein's experience in ER Here’s a question about Attunement I have for the community: I'm really curious what would a school day look like for kids in an attuned school? What new activities / creative experiences would unfold if a teacher made attunement the top priority?
