How would you recycle this stash?
I just listed something fun in the shop — 77 packages of vintage Wrights lace hem tape, mostly unopened, in the most gorgeous array of colors! And I want to throw out a creative challenge — what would YOU make with these? Upcycle ideas welcome! Bonus points for the most creative answer. Grab the whole lot for just $49 with free continguous USA shipping. https://www.londas-sewing.com/product-page/vintage-wrights-lace-hem-tape-and-seam-binding-lot-of-77-packages-mostly-unopene

It might be fun to use the tape to make a table runner and napkins. Decide on the width and length of the table runner and the placemats. Cut a piece of fabric for the front and back of each. Cut the hem tape, etc slightly larger than the length and width needed. Sew the hem tape to one side of table runner and one side of each placemat. Sometimes you can find decorative hem tape you could mix in with your hem tape strips.

Dunno about ya'll, but I'm excited about the 'social' part of Skool! Without the ads and intrusion/spying of Facebook!!! That being said... to try to get this going 1. Please comment below if you read this - just say: 'Saw it' 2. WHAT part of your sewing machine (tell us what your machine is: (make and model) give you the most PROBLEM? 3. What the heck - share how MANY machines you have! Londa

That should say I don’t remember the name on the Brother sewing machine.

@Londa Rohlfing You are so right! I’ve forgotten half of the things my machine can do.
