My introduction to Tai Chi was in February when I was looking for something to help me lose weight. I’m 71 and I have a lumbar spine problem so high impact exercise is no good. What I found was a 28 day course that I found enjoyable and, as far as it went, was an effective start towards healthier weight and fitness. However, at the end of the 28 days, there was nowhere to move on to. I did an extensive search for something that would meet my requirements and I found Rooted Alchemy and now The Traditional Tai Chi Method, so I’m now sure that I am getting the tuition and support that I need. I also realise that Tai Chi and Qi Gong are lifelong practices and not just a means to an end. Looking forward to practicing here too.
