not my favorite. It can be impactful in specific instances where you are gifting an experience and don't want to dictate their schedule - but to me it feels low effort in general :/ Happy to hear other takes on it!

I received as a combined effort from my mother and sisters this beautiful crocheted blanket of sheet music to one of my favorite hymns. I used it all through college <3 and now it's a backdrop in my office.

When I left for Germany, I received a precious gift from a friend of mine - it was an envelope that told me to wait to open it until I was having a rough day and was feeling alone. In it, was a puzzle that when put together was a note from her telling me how amazing I am. It touched me so deeply, and really helped me to feel loved and connected even when continents apart. I now write love notes to my husband on the back of dollar store puzzles to share that experience with him, even if it's not quite the same.
