What do you do for living?
How would you answer that question? How important is what you do is to you? How attached are you you to what you do to earn a living? Would you rather make less money doing what you do because of the prestige or make more money doing something else that is not considered prestigious? I am curious.

I'm giving people authenticity, self-worth and growth! Amazing to be able to do this for a living. I also do it for free part-time šŸ˜† Mostly with family and friends, but also within several communities (free workshops) to give back ā¤ļøā€šŸ”„

They say that when you market to everyone, you market to no one. (Is that true? According to whom? What gives them the ABSOLUTE authority to make the claim?) Whatever the case may be, I have decided to market to everyone. Come to think of it, why do we even have to market and sell? Why can't we just give away what we have? Because, what I have learned in life is that the more you give away, the more you have to give away. If I was to translate that into the commercial language, it would mean that the more you gave away the larger your income would be and you'll have more resources and opportunities to give away what you have. I have changed the language on the community's About page to make it all inclusive rather than it being a community for men only. Over the years I have experienced that more women are attracted to my message than men, and it would be foolish of me to make it available only to men, when traditionally my ideal audience has been women. Also, the fact remains that this community has both men and women in its membership from the start, and if I look at the leadership board I find both men and women on the list. Please feel free to leave your thoughts on the matter in the comments. @Christina Brady @Mitchell Allen @Lisa Black @Mike Bayer @Eileen MacDonell @Guy Bandy @Georgiana D @Aslam Khatri @Katinka van Kan @James Bansbach

I think this is very dependent on where you are with your business, what your message is and how/where you market. On IG with an ad, yeah...you can't market to everyone. Here on Skool, there's no need to target 1 very specific ideal client. It can help grow faster, or in a sertain direction, but it's not a make or break. However, you automatically market to a type of person always. As long as you stay authentic, there's a type of person that will connect to you, find you, buy from you, work with you...do you have to be aware? Do you have to only look for these people actively? I don't think so šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Can it help with having a bit more control over your business growth, definitely! I believe both are fine: target, don't target. As long as you're authentic with everything you do, you'll be fine šŸ’•
Lucid dreaming
Have you ever had a lucid dream? That's when you're dreaming and you know that you're dreaming. I had one of those last night. In my dream I was trying to figure out what the dream was telling me and then I remembered that I had this dream before and I didn't know what it meant then either. So here I am pondering what was the dream trying to tell me While I don't remember all the details, I remember bits and pieces of it It had something to do with Alaska and raising the prices by 10% and somehow raising the prices made it difficult to be more profitable And I was trying to figure out in my dream, how is that even possible? In case you don't know me, I am a numbers nerd. If I figure out what it meant, I'll add a comment and let you know about it. And if you're into dreams and dream interpretations and that sort of thing, maybe you can tell me what it possibly could mean, or give me some hints on how to look at it. On an unrelated note, some people say that the life on Earth is like a dream, and the enlightened beings are the ones who recognized it as a lucid dream. What are your thoughts on the matter? Please share it in the comments https://youtu.be/ELP_U55QrZ8?si=BfkHjkVgZvdaMSOE PS: Kenny Nolan said he, dreamed this song.

@Lisa Black I think if you want to learn it you need to have a notebook next to your bed, and every time you wake up try to remember your dream and write it down. But def google! Like I said, I've always been a lucid dreamer, I still remember dreams from when I was 4/5 years old 🤣
There Is No Loss in Divine Mind
On July 19, 2013, I lost my wallet. Well, I didn’t exactly lose it, but… I went to the Flying J truck stop on I-45 and Richey Road in north Houston to answer nature’s call. As I sat down on the stool, my wallet fell out of my pocket. I picked it up and laid it on top of the toilet paper holder and promptly forgot about it. I was in Sugar Land, TX, some forty miles away when I needed to pay for something, and that’s when I realized that I never picked up my wallet off the toilet paper holder. The first thought that crossed my mind was something I had learned from my mentor and prosperity coach, Marilyn Jennet. She had quoted Florence Schinn as having said, ā€œThere is no loss in divine mind.ā€ I called the truck stop, but my wallet was nowhere in sight. I thought about the Murphy quote and let it go. I promptly called and canceled all my cards – both of them. I didn’t have a ton of money in my wallet, just some personal belongings and business receipts. As time went on, I replaced the cards and bought a new wallet, something I needed to do before I lost my old one. As they say, life goes on. And mine was going along just fine, with all its ups and downs and personal challenges and triumphs, when, on December 26, 2013, out of the blue, I got a phone call from a number that I didn’t recognize. I normally don’t answer those calls. (I figure if the caller had a real reason to call me, they would leave me a message). But for some reason, I answered the phone. It turned out that the caller had my wallet at the gas station where he worked and had it for several months. He was cleaning out a drawer when he came across it again and went through the contents and found my business card with my phone number on it. He told me that he was at the corner of I-45 and Parker Road, ten miles from where I had ā€œlostā€ it. I picked up the wallet later on that evening on my way to Sugar Land to see my brother, who was on his death bed with his third battle with cancer. Nothing was missing, not even the cash. I remembered my initial thought, ā€œThere is no loss in Divine Mind.ā€

New Introduction!
Been here for a little while, but becoming more active now! And with the new introduction post of our sweet sweet uncle @Rasheed Hooda I figured...let's also (re?)introduce myself then 🤩 I am Katinka, consciousness coach and very passionate about personal development. I love to connect my spiritual & coaching knowledge to some scientific neuroscience research and see how this can open up new doors in life! My knowledge and tools are up for grabs, so I'm always around to share some insights or support. Also been running my business for over a decade now, so a lot of stories to tell and a lot of learnings to share! Always up for a connection call to brainstorm or share experiences. I've had about 3 connection calls a week through Skool the past weeks, and it's been so valuable and so much fun! Don't even remember where Rasheed and I met here on Skool, but it was early on in my Skool journey, and we keep finding the same groups. Love sharing our experiences and going through this Skool journey together šŸ’•
